I purchased the Reminiscence Patchouli Eau De Toilette Spray in Paris in the 1980's and loved it so much and wore it all the time.
I was overjoyed to see it was still available! The bottle looked the same and even the packaging was as I remembered, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! It was a very romantic fragrance! The memory of a very romantic trip! Well I do still like it but it seems to have more vanilla and less patchouli then I remember, and it doesn't have the long lasting power that I remember. It is lovely to have,I'm glad that I ordered it. Who knows maybe the product is the same but my nose has lost it's ability to discern the nuance as well as my younger nose.

I've read a several positive reviews about how this product is in the top ten patchouli fragrances. I've made a lot of hand made soap in my time using organic essential oils, and I don't smell a hint of patchouli in this product. The reviews I've listened to went on about high notes, low notes, and a hint of this and that. The only thing patchouli about this fragrance is the name. It's going in the trash. I feel foolish for buying it.
