Product Description
Permanent & Professional Hair Removal
If fall into the camp of people who want zero body hair without putting in, like, any effort (aka shaving and waxing are out). That's why the light hair removal device so popular, those little at-home devices that promise to zap off your hair in the comfort of your own bathroom for a fraction of the fees of an in-office treatment.
If you’re sick of shaving, tweezing, or waxing, you might consider other more permanent methods of hair removal. Light(IPL) hair removal offers the longest-lasting results.
Light(IPL) hair removal works with the help of high-heat lights or intense pulsed lights (IPL) that dissolve hair and temporarily disable hair follicles. That way, the follicles won’t be able to produce new hairs for up to several weeks.

I've tried a large number of these IPL devices at this point, and I can say that these IPL devices all work pretty similarly, with only a few differences separating them. Among the most significant differences:
** Does the device only address hair removal, or does it also promise to do "skin rejuvenation" or help with acne?
** Does the device offer the "ice" functionality, where a heat-sink near the flash head reduces the effective heat at the skin
** Does the device offer an LCD readout of info such as number of flashes left, power level, etc
** What are the ergonomics of the device itself: Gun shaped or tube-shaped or...?
** Does the device include attachments that modify the shape/size of the head for focused use in places like the lips?
** What is the maximum number of flashes for which the device is rated (most devices are rated for 500,000-1,000,000 flashes, which is equivalent to a lifetime)
If all you need is hair removal, just about all the devices offer that, and should provide equivalent functionality.
This one falls into the lower end of the spectrum, offering only hair removal mode and no ICE functionality, but at a reduced price.
Specifics of this IPL device:
** Only performs hair removal.
** NO ICE skin cooling functionality
** LCD screen shows number of flashes left and power level (1-5)
** "Oblong" shaped unit--a bit cumbersome in the hand
** The power cord attaches to the end of the unit (see photos)
** No attachments to change the flash end shape
** Rated for about 999,999 flashes, 5 power levels.
Operation is pretty trivial:
1) Attach the power cord to the IPL device and plug it into the wall (the device is NOT battery operated--you must have it plugged in).
2) Turn on the device via the power button, which is on the top of the unit, below the LCD screen.
3) Choose the power level to use (you have five levels, and you cycle through them using short pushes of the power button). The level will be indicated on the LCD screen.
4) Place the front end of the device against the skin you are trying to treat and push the flash button (button located above the LCD screen). (You can also put the device in "auto" mode, where it flashes every time it is pushed against skin. To put it into auto mode, hold the flash button for 3 seconds). There is a few second refractory periods after flashing before you can flash again.
The light is extremely powerful, and could damage your eyes with continued direct exposure. Therefore, you should never look directly into the light and a cheap pair of folding protective eyeglasses are included in the box.
The light is triggered by a sensors in the front of the device. Using very slow-motion photography, I was able to capture a snapshot of the light (see photos). But the light duration is extremely short.
You run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair and make sure you expose all the hair follicles in that region. You will not see any immediate results. The light signals your hair to stop growing, but it requires multiple treatments over several weeks before you will be expected to see results. Eventually, you should find a substantial reduction in the hair in the treated areas.
In the box, you get the tool, a power cord, a pair of eye protection glasses, a cheap disposible razor, some cotton swabs, plus instructions. This tool is rated for about 999,999 flashes. (So it should probably last longer than your interest in it).
One thing you don't get with this tool is any attachments that can make it easier to address certain body areas. Some IPL removal tools include these. The actual value of such tools is subject to debate and the fundamental functionality (which is a flash of high-intensity light) does not change.
This IPL device is among the cheaper models available on Amazon, though it only offers IPL hair removal functionality. For many, that will be enough. It seems to work well. My main commplaint, at this price point, is that the big/wide oblong shape won't be that comfortable for some--especially those with smaller hands. And the flash button is somewhat inconveniently placed near the end of the unit (see photo).

Ive tried ones that were over 200 down to these more affordable ones..
.. They are mostly the same..
Ipl devices with horrible directions..
Luckily they are easy to use, and there are a lot of videos out there!
Ipl is not laser, and not really permanent, so you will have to use on a maintenance
Schedule ..
Typically, i used 3 x a week on the highest setting ( after testing of course)
I did that about 6 weeks.. Then once or twice a week, then once ev 2 weeks, then forgot
All about it.. So id say that the Hardest part is remembering once youre past the omg this
Is working stage..
Now its not like week 1 you're wowed...
...., more like by week 2 you think " could it be???...then omg it IS working...
I initially did 1 pit..then by week 3 it was obviously coming in weaker finer gappier..
Now i am ideal as i have light skin, dark hair.. I noticed the most diff on coarser bikini n pit
As expected.. ( its attracted to dark... So NEVER near tattoo!!!!)
For me its absolutely worth its price for ANY reduction in hair, so do i think
It will eventually be only a once ev 2 months w 100% dainty fuzz.. Idk, it could be?
But any amount of slower finer ive gotten has been well worth it!
For instance, now when i shave bikini line, it comes in like arm hair, instead of
" am i gonna snag my tucked in shirt on the rogue stubble? "
..and i have even skipped a day shavin armpits vs havin to do twice a day...
As far as this specific device, its shape has replaced my first, fasiz ( my first, and i did like it a lot)
Bc its a better shape.. Its smaller and has a narrower head...
(The least fav one i reviewed had a large round head, so it was hard to tell where the window is..)
These do use a cord ( none ive had are rechargeable)..
👁, you must use eye protection, and they do take a lil time bc its a small window..
But commit to staying on schedule, and i t hink, like me, you'll find it worthwhile..
Basically, theres power on off
Power level
Zap button ( and if you hold in, it zapps periodically so you dont hafta keep hitting
Button)
They have all been basically the same so far, just diff shapes and sizes..I
So my sugg would be to read all reviews, and consider price and how many available flashes..
I like the ones that show a countdown....
⚡⚡Its also common with these to see the exact same one sold under different names!⚡⚡
🌞If your a tanner , light or self tanner, best to use before that, it easily is attracted to
Darker hairs on lighter skin, so having that contrast gives you the best results...
This one would be a nice gift for a man bc its black ( id ditch the razor)
Works well..as my others.. just takes dedication ..
Under70 bux..Yes👍
