The Kinnison boys are now men. They have lived, learned and found love and happiness except for Dalton. Now it's his turn. The trouble is he's fighting his destiny. He won't admit that Angelique has his heart. Dalton and Angelique both have their demons. The past has crippled their ability to give and receive love. I felt Dalton's pain but I wished that alcohol wasn't his crutch. Angelique is hiding a devastating secret. It explains so much. Her desire and love for Dalton is still there but she doesn't dare let her guard down. My heart was all fluttery when Dalton would call her Angel. How romantic! The chemistry between Dalton and Angelique is very potent. I'm anxious to see how Dalton will react when he realizes that he's in love with Angelique. Will this be his wake up call? Will he become the man that I know he can be? Their sexual attraction and caring make for an amazing romance that swept me up in their story. Renegade Hearts was impossible to put down. The characters were compelling and the story centered on the family bond. Emilee, Angelique's little girl, is a firecracker and wise beyond her years. I enjoyed her so much. I, also, liked the way the Kinnison Family supported each other. I felt their love and caring. The ending was so powerful that I was in tears. Amanda McIntyre has outdone herself. The third book in the Kinnison Legacy is wonderful celebration of love and second chances.

Dalton and Angelique had been attracted to each other for a long time. The had a wild night of passion seven years earlier but the time just wasn't right ton have a relationship. She went back to Tony a boyfriend in Chicago and married him and later realized she was pregnant. He became very abusive and after robbing a store, he was sent to prison for a long time. She testified against him for a number of crimes he was involved in. When they took him out of court in hand cuffs, the hate full look he gave her, told her this was not over by any stretch of the imagination... She and Dalton reignite their chemistry but there are problems. She doesn't think Dalton has a lot of abandonment issues and isn't ready for a relationship, and he drinks too much. She hasn't told him that her daughter Emilee, is really his. Her family has a lot on Native American blood and they are all psychic. There is a white owl that comes around every time big changes are about to happen. I just loved this story.

I was really surprised with Dalton, he was not one of my favorite characters in the first two books and I wasn't sure I wanted to read his story. I am SO glad I did!! He actually is a really good man that had a lot of anger and hurt from his mom and his loss of Jed.
My feelings about Angelique were mixed. She had a rough past, but I didn't think her secret was fair to those affected (I can't say what the secret is, it would be a total spoiler). But she overcame her past and things turned out.
The Sexual Tension between Dalton and Angelique was palpable. They fought it long and hard, but in the end....you'll need to read and find out what happened.
I love this series, the characters are awesome. I am really curious about Clay and Sally. I haven't looked on amazon to find out if they have a book, if not I hope there will be. I wouldn't mind hanging out in End of the Line some more.

brother #3 gets his story and a whole lot more..

This is a good story about three brothers, all adopted but brothers still. This story is about brother #3. It is a series, stand alone books. This one does refer to events involving the other two brothers and their new wives but just enough to explain a few facts, not their whole story. The youngest is a troubled young man. His mother married his step-father and then left him to find herself. he still has very bad feelings about his mother and what she did. Drinking seems to be the way he solves his problems. He is not a drunk, just drinks from time to time. He is also quite the ladies man. He has no intentions of ever marrying so he is quite the playboy He never lacks for female companionship.

The heroine in the story is a young single mother of a 7 year old girl. Her aunt and uncle raised the heroine and they took on the job of raising her daughter about 5 years ago. There are lots of secrets involving this young woman. She has made some very questionable choices in her life and she thinks she can keep all these secrets without anyone ever finding out. Naturally these two have a strong attraction to each other but they seem to fight it more than most!! I really liked the hero in the story. I did sort of lose patience with the heroine. She questions choices she made in the past and how they did not serve her best interest yet she continues to make bad choices. I didn't feel she grew much through the story at all. The hero does a lot of self-evaluation and comes to some very important decisions about his life. I did think the heroine got off way too easy over her big secret. She never had to explain herself and he let her off the hook because of the event with her ex.

The interesting part of the story is the gift of sight that her aunt and her daughter share. It is all part of their heritage and it leads to some interesting events. Anytime there is an Indian background it does have spiritual meanings to animals and events, etc. so that is always a plus for me. I enjoyed the story and would definitely recommend it.
