From the Back Cover

God doesn't want your life to be boring.

In fact, Jesus promised life to the fullest. But how do you get there? Drawing from his colorful and sometimes outrageous experiences as a pastor on the Las Vegas Strip, author Vince Antonucci challenges you to embrace a risky, radical faith. Want to really live for God in a way that transforms you, as well as your whole community? Then it's time to be a renegade.

"In Renegade, Vince Antonucci will make you laugh out loud, tug at your heart with inspiring real life stories, and challenge you to live a daring adventure with God."--Mark Batterson, pastor of National Community Church in Washington, DC, and author of The Circle Maker

"If you are tired of a mediocre faith, Vince Antonucci's book Renegade will inspire you to an all-in, fully surrendered, self-sacrificing faith journey with Christ."--Craig Groeschel, pastor of LifeChurch.tv and author of Soul Detox

"Vince Antonucci's writing always challenges me while making me laugh. In Renegade, he pushes all of us to live with radical faith in a radical God. Vince does more than write this story, he lives it and gives us a compelling picture for what the life of faith looks like."--Jud Wilhite, pastor of Central Christian Church in Las Vegas and author of Torn

"The message of Renegade will teach you, entertain you, inspire you, challenge you, and convict you. . . . My prayer is that this book starts a movement of renegades who turn the world upside down."--Kyle Idleman, teaching pastor at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, KY, and author of Not a Fan

"If you are tired of a play-it-safe, go-through-the-motions faith, then Renegade is exactly what you need. Authored by a guy who is a serial risk-taker, this book will have you laughing while at the same time discovering that faith was always meant to be a daring adventure! Renegade is a book for all of us who want a faith that is more than knowing what Jesus would do, but rather doing what he would do!"--Dave Ferguson, pastor of Community Christian Church and coauthor of Exponential

What I love about this book is it's hitting me where I am now. This book is for the believer who's truly looking to LIVE the message, LIVE the calling, not just talk about it on Sundays. What I love about Vince's books in general is that in one way or another he's trying to clear the fog of wrong (and frankly, BAD) information that people have about Christianity and what it means to believe. In Renegade Vince is challenging us to say the least. I mean, if there is actually this God who loves and delights in each of us, and he did actually send his only son to literally die for us, and he does desire to reach the lost, and if we genuinely believe that, how can we seriously put that into action? Well, read this book for starters. Vince inspires us through amazing stories of real people called to amazing action - amazing not by the world's fallen standards, but by God's. I find that the book is ultimately about peace. As I read I realized that while there is rest and joy in following Christ, I'm not at peace unless my faith has works, that I'm willing to be a renegade for Christ, whatever that means. So... I highly recommend this anyone, especially if you're a believer and feel in a rut of church on sunday, sing some worship songs, read some bible verses, SSDD. Read "Renegade."

Having previously read his books, I expected a good read with a little humor, a little humility, and a little education. And a lot to think about. I was not disappointed. Renegade reads easy. It makes you laugh while it tugs your heartstrings. But mostly, it convicts. Most Christians, myself included, lead a life of comfort. Not necessarily a life of ease, but comfort. We're ok where we're at and ask Jesus to join us there. Vince reminds us that Jesus calls us to follow Him. To take risks. To live dangerous. To have radical faith. To be a Renegade.
In inimitable Antonucci style, Vince convicts and encourages and even offers a plan for where to go from here. If you're ready to go all in for Jesus, and even if you're not, this book is a must read.

I have met Vince and this book reflects him perfectly. He often says that if you don't have friends that aren't Christians, then you aren't as close to Jesus as you think you are. Basically your job is to bring those people to him and how can you do that if you don't know them (and they you). It's disconcerting for many people and sometimes even dangerous but are your sacrifices really as great as those made for you two millennia ago? Great book from an ultimate Christian who may just be a modern day Paul.

I downloaded this book after seeing an ad for it in Outreach Magazine and reading some great reviews. I must say it is a great book and one that God has used at this time in my life. I have been getting the message for the past couple of weeks that God is getting ready to make some BIG change in my life. I have always felt this way just before something life changing. It was one that I couldn't put down and read in just a couple of days. This book has challenged me once again that our faith is not to make us safe, our faith is a risk taking relationship with the God of the universe. The risk is not on Gods part but on us to see if we really have the faith we say we do.

Vince Antonucci has been called to plant a church on The LasVegas Strip and not only that, his church has been called to shine the light into the darkness. Well, all churches have been called to do this but a lot of churches dont ever venture into the darkness. Matter of fact, many churches believe the church is a place to stay safe from the darkness.

God has called us to share our faith. Read Renegade and you will be inspired to do more than ever before. Most of us will pray that God doesn't call us to Vegas.

"Here's the issue: we get to choose whether we want to follow Jesus, but we don't get to choose what it looks like to follow Jesus. We want to follow Jesus and we want to live nice, safe, comfortable lives that are "normal." That's a problem--because it doesn't work. You can't have both. Following Jesus means embracing a selfless, crazy, dangerous, God-obsessed life, and that's something most people refuse to do."

I was introduced to Vince in 1998 at Forefront church in Va Beach, VA. It was the day God found me.
In a radical, in my face, where have you been daughter kind of way.
God through Vince started challenging me that day to do something more...be something more...serve God more...
Renegade will challenge you in the same way.

WARNING: This challenge isn't for sissies. You will feel yourself wanting to become a RENEGADE! And it will be scary to think about,
to truly consider, to take those first steps of making a plan, and then the giant step in the direction that God is calling you...it will be hard but it will be worth it!

Vince's books (especially Renegade) are always inspiring, funny, and more than anything practical.
You don't just read this book, you can live the life God created you for and Renegade will show you how.

If you read 1 book this year, make it Renegade.

In renegade Vince Antonucci throws down the challenge of scripture,to make an impact on you family, your friends, your community, your country, and your world. To often we in the USA settle for a cheap spectator Christianity. Vince correctly points out that as followers of Christ we are called to live out our faith, and many times that leads us to difficult decisions and dangerous situations. While it doesn't sound safe, Christ's mission wasn't safe in fact it got him nailed to a cross. While it doesn't sound profitable to die on a cross, it was the greatest victory of history when he rose from the grave. So what God asks us to do might not sound safe, the greatest victories of our life might be found down the renegade path. If you allow it to,this book will help you find the renegade path for your life.
