This battery is awesome! We camped mostly off the grid for three weeks this summer, charging fully about once every week. We kept it topped off with portable solar panels when we could and used the onboard generator in our F150 a few times for added juice. We are careful not to use items that run in the background. We added an on/off switch it so it’s easy to conserve power. We wish we had done this much sooner!

I didn't do a review when I purchased two lithium batteries in October of 2020 from Renogy, because I know very little about lithium batteries. I’m doing a review on customer service. Both my Renogy batteries failed on the way to California to visit family for the holidays. I called Renogy and they gave me a few things to try and nothing worked. I called them back and they gave me a case number. I asked how long is this going to take and they said shipping time plus 10 days for processing. I told them I live in Colorado, but I’m in Riverside California 20 miles from your facility. Can I make an appointment to drop off the batteries? I made an appointment for monday Dec 6 at 9 am.

Here is where the story gets really good. I showed up, gave the person my case number and he told me to bring in the batteries and I did. He did a couple of quick tests and said these batteries should charge. He told me to wait here in the lobby and I will be back in 15 to 30 minutes. In about 20 minutes he was back and said the batteries will not take a charge and they didn’t know why. He told me to wait and his team will process my case. About 15 minutes later he came out with 2 new batteries in the box. I said is that it, He said yes, I said have a great day and left. I expected to drop off the batteries and return 10 days later for the results. I expected to drop off the batteries and return 10 days later for the results.

I told this story because customer service is very important. It’s when you need to use a warranty you find the truth about a company. At no point did anyone at Renogy make me feel bad or suggest that I must have done something to cause both the batteries to fail. Would I buy from them again, absolutely. I also would recommend using Renogy for all your RV solar needs.

Don't buy – if you ever have a problem, Renogy support is a complete nightmare

These batteries may or may not be great. I received two, one working, one completely and utterly dead. These cannot be returned through Amazon, here's what I went through with Renogy Support:

1) Contacted support, 20 minute wait, reached sales support and requested exchange. They said I need to talk technical support. Could/would not connect me, said they'd call back.

2) Next day I called again after not receiving a callback. Got promised to receive callback same day. No call back from Renogy.

3) Next day I called again, finally got through to technical support on my own. Technician walked me through "testing" the battery (even though I have one working perfectly fine and one not working at all, that doesn't seem to be test enough for a brandnew battery). They requested: a video or photo of the switch probe not lighting up, a multimeter reading, and some personal data (which they should have because they sent me the battery in the first place).

4) Filmed everything as requested, made it available to Renogy. Nothing for two days. Called again. Talked to technical support again. They said that they cannot exchange the battery until it has been picked up and tested at Renogy, which should take 10 to 14 days. When I told them, that I then want to just return the battery, they refused and offered to send out a replacement while the other one is tested.

5) Battery was picked up a few days later, replacement is still not shipped. I called Renogy again, they said, that a "loaner" battery would be shipped to me "soon". So far, nothing. I asked what they meant by "loaner" and they said that if they find that the battery I shipped back (which I tested with the technician on the phone) to be working, I would need to return the loaner and take back the one that wasn't working in the first place. I refused this and requested a straight on replacement for the non-working item.

That's the current state of the situation. This has been going on for three weeks now. I have no idea what they think this should lead to, but I'm quite annoyed by now. I will NEVER EVER buy another Renogy product, I will NEVER EVER recommend a Renogy product to anyone. I don't care whether the products are generally okay, because if they ever are not, the support is not only useless, it's offensive and just insanely annoying to deal with. Unbelievable.

UPDATE: I finally received an email that the battery has been found defective and that I can keep the replacement. It took just over four weeks from original order to this point. If you don't want to go through the same misery, you might want to consider which brand's products you buy. I will stay VERY far away from Renogy. Forever.

車中泊仕様のハイエースに積むために買いました。
他のメーカーの安価なのは低温保護がないようですし、高くても多少でも安心できそうなRENOGYに・・・
合板で床を貼ってその上に樹脂のバッテリケースに入れて固定しています。(その上にベッドキット)

寒冷地に行くことも多いので選択しましたが、自宅は太平洋側で氷点下になることは多くはありません。
早朝、家の中からBT-2で温度を見ると外気温よりは数度ぐらい高いので氷点下は滅多にないはず。
寒冷地にいく場合も殆ど車中泊のため車内温度は外気温よりは高い。
バッテリが冷え込むまで車を放置することもまずありません。
低温で充電カットする保護さえあれば、ヒート機能はなくても良かったかな。

‎RBC30D1S-JPと合わせて運用してますが、USERモードでブースト充電13.5V フロート充電13.4V イコライゼーション充電14.4V ブースト持続時間 120分イコライゼーション間隔 15日イコライゼーション持続時間 120分の設定にしています。
通常は80％台で充電して労りつつ維持、たまに100％満充電するのが狙い。
冷蔵庫やオーディオ等で頻繁に電力を使うのでバッテリ休止モードは使わないつもりです。

追記
ヒート機能があったほうが正解でした。
数日間、だんだんと冷え込みが厳しくなると5℃以下になります。
一旦冷えると車内の暖房程度じゃ殆ど温度は上がりません。
充電できない状態が長く続くと出先では致命的な状況になりますのでヒート機能はあったほうがいいです。

Ich habe die Batterie am 27.11.21 durch Amazon Bestellt und habe sie nun Ausführlich im Wohnmobil getestet.

Ich muss sagen das die Batterie mich bis jetzt nicht überzeugt hat mir scheint das die AGM Blei Batterie auch 100Ah länger halt auls diese Lipo Batterie sie maag wohl ok sein aber mehr auch nicht erneut Bestellen würde ich sie nicht mehr da sie das Geld nicht Wert ist lieber 10kg mehr aber es hält diese geht zu schnell leer und ihrgend wann fällt sie unter 12volt und die Spannung fällt auf 3volt runter fallt obwohl ich nur immer den LapTop Auflade und zusätzlich eine 200Wp Solar Anlage habe und die Batterie knapp 1 woche hält finde ich das eune Schwach Leistung daher nur 2 Sterne Ende der Misserablen Story.
