I did a test. I'm outfitting my cabin, and which to get? So, I ordered two panels to start my test. One Renogy 100w, and another similar amazon sourced brand that was cheaper. Here are my results.
0) shipping speed: Order placed Thur jun 7th in the evening. Package on porch Sat Jun 9th. Oh, ya. That is prime. The other brand: placed Sat jun 9th, arrived Thursday jun 13th. Ok, there was a Sunday in there...but takes 3 week days and a weekend to deliver?
1) Packaging: HANDS DOWN, the Renogy was better packed. Double boxed. Also, the inner box was a denser protective box packed with 1/2 closed cell foam. The other brand was just a single box. BOTH arrived with shipping scars. I had to verify the other brand panel to ensure it wasn't damaged in shipping. Renogy wins big here.
2) power output. The two 100 watt panels in direct sun light. The amps/volts were very similar. 5.6-5.7amps @17.3-17.6 volts...I'll call that ~100Watts. Both panels are as advertised.
3) Aluminum: The renogy frame was simply more aluminum. 1/3 more height and more sturdy.
4) construction: The renogy brand had mitered corners. The fit and finish were good. The other brand had plastic corners. The renology was stiffer. Important if you are mounting to a roof during a wind storm one would think.
So...End result: I need 6 more panels. I'll be buying the Renogy.
I will follow up in 6 months with more stats and results.

Winnebago Travato expansion
Love this product. Screwed it into Renogy brackets I purchased, added the converter cables needed for my existing Zamp system and attached to my Winnebago Travato rack on roof. So simple and SO much cheaper than adding another Zamp panel. Charged my battery to full status in no time (something I couldn't get with only one 100 watt panel). Loved the Renogy brackets, which are much better than my Zamp brackets. They are the same good quality as my roof rack brackets. Would definitely buy again.

I am very impressed with these solar panels. Even in low light conditions (partial shade at 7:00 in the morning) they are producing enough power to trickle charge my battery. My new Renogy solar system may not be particularly practical given the constraints of apartment living, but we'll see who's laughing when the End of Days is upon us and I'm the only one of my neighbors with the ability to microwave a burrito!Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2018
