Are you frustrated with your printer? Are you about to take it into a parking lot and go straight office space on it?Hi, I'm Chase and I was about to hammer my Ender 3 into the ground with a baseball bat after a solid two weeks of trying and trying to successfully print anything other than PLA. Lol. There are a couple things I credit with taking my print game to the next level, and this is definitely one of them. In my humble opinion if you were to purchase this plastic repellant paint, a PEI build plate, and add the Bed Level Mesh plugin to Octoprint, you'll very likely end up only having a failed print once or twice a month. At least, thats my experience, and those couple failed prints only happen because the paint gets heated away during print after print and they start to fail again before you realize its sticking to the nozzle again and reapply paint. Trust me, its money well spent, and at an acceptable price too. A bottle should last you quite a while, despite being rather small. Its about the size of a finger nail polish container, but when youre just dabbing some on the tip of a nozzle once every month or so, it really has some long legs.I wish I could add pictures to show examples of how well this stuff works in practice, I feel like it always helps to see what you're buying and what it does before you purchase it for the first time. But alas, its kind of difficult to just post a picture of a big blob of filament and 25 consecutive failed prints, compared to the inverse occurrences you get when adding this plastic repellant paint to the mix. If you print in PETG or ABS, anything other than PLA that seems to really like to "booger" and tends to ruin prints as a result, this the the product for you! I have added what photos I could to help exhibit the apparent crystalline form the paint takes upon drying. This can be seen as the white almostg powdery looking substance coating the tip of my replacement nozzle. This visible coat of tiny crystals may disappear after a couple prints, but rest assured the paint is still active. As I said, you'll definitely know when its time to recoat the nozzle tip because your prints will start to fail again. Mine did at least. And as soon as I added a new coat, I got back to printing!I'll definitely be buying more in the future. This is definitely one of those quality of life products that just improve the 3D printing experience. Especially for those relatively new to the hobby and having trouble getting those more "exotic" filaments dialed iin. If you regularly print PETG or ABS type materials, you will not regret buying this product. I promise!Live long and prosper 🖖

There is no more filament sticking to the nozzle. This results in less stringing, and better-quality prints. The application is easy, you just paint it on the nozzle when it is at room temperature.

I was a little wary when buying due to the other views about the bottle leaking everywhere and only having a little left to actually use. I still bought the product due to just about all the views stating that the product does do what it advertised. I received the product without any leaks. Also from what I have experienced, the product does do as advertised. It has helped to keep the nozzle clean of build up and has greatly reduced stringing. I also have not had to use bit a very tiny bit of the product so do not be worried about the size of the bottle. It seems to go a long way.

This stuff is difficult to review, because many of the complaints are due to the packaging and not the product itself. I'm in the same boat. My first order came in with most of it leaked into the plastic baggie it ships in. I was not going to play around trying to dump it back into the bottle, and I ended up with a 1/4 full bottle by the time it made it to my home so I returned for a replacement. When it came in, same issue but at least a bit less had leaked in this one.

They need to figure out how to put a seal on the lid if they plan to ship this stuff. Nobody wants to deal with it all leaking out, and it dries fast so it's hard to pour back into the bottle without making a mess and drying up.

That being said, I have always hated PETG because it clumps up on the nozzle and causes too many issues. I use a tungsten carbide nozzle, which I love but it collects PETG even worse than a standard brass one. This stuff took care of all my PETG issues, and I can officially print it just as easily as PLA now. I'll definitely keep using this, but hopefully by the time I need another bottle they fix the packaging issue.

Product is fine, packaging is not. The actual paint works at reducing adhesion of plastic to the nozzle. It is not a magic cure all but it does help.

Unfortunately, between 1/3 and 1/2 the paint leaked on the inside of the bag it was shipped in, covering the exterior of the vial and inside of the bag in a slippery, nonstick coating. It was bad enough I would have returned it, but I needed to use it promptly and could not wait. Since I only received half as much paint usable paint as I should have due to poor packaging, I don't think it is a good value.

Without the leak, I would give it 4 stars.

Since applying the PRP, my X1C has significantly improved in clearing filament residue from the nozzle, resulting in much cleaner prints. I hope they release a high-temperature version for engineering-grade filaments. This product is a must-have for any 3D printer! While it’s not a one-time, fix-all solution, the coating is long-lasting, and I estimate this small bottle will easily last several months—a conservative estimate.

Im sure the product works, but the packaging needs to be updated and addressed. My bottle came less than half full.

I will likely be ordering this again, eventually.. when I do I’ll make sure I’m not in a hurry to use it. If it comes like this again I will be returning them until they come proper.
