One of the first recommended upgrades for the SR80i is to ditch the Comfy pads in favor of the L-Cushions (the Bowls), which are supposed to be more comfortable. I did buy a pair but found the comfort worse than the Comfy pad. The next pad size up is the G-cushion, a full over ear pad which are intended for Grado's top end headphones. Not wanting to spend 50 bucks on ear pads, I read the Sennheiser pads were excellent replacements.
I purchased mine here through Amazon (Thanks Amazon for the fast delivery!). As mentioned by others, the openings on the Sennheiser pad is marginally smaller than Grado pads. However, the pads installed easily. I was also surprised to see that after installation that the pads are slightly cup shaped, unlike the Grado Comfy's which are totally flat. I find the sponge material much softer and denser than the Grado pads. They are much more comfortable than the stock pads. The yellow color doesn't really bother me.
Based on what I've read here and elsewhere online, folks mention they feel these pads change the sound of the SR80i from the stock pads. Maybe I don't have that discerning of an ear, but I can't really tell the difference in sound quality between the Sennheiser pads and the stock Grado's. The only thing I can point out is that because of the cup shape of the Sennheiser pads, the speaker drivers are not sitting directly on the ear like the Grado pads so perhaps folks are attributing that as a difference in sound. Honestly, if there is a difference it's imperceptible to me.
All-in-all, these are a nice upgrade from the stock SR80i, less expensive than Grado replacements and definitely more comfortable.
*I should also note. I mistakenly thought these were Yaxi Pads, but they are not and that is my mistake. But I did order Yaxi Pads to see if theyre the same as these. But just read the listing more carefully than me. These are NOT Yaxi Pads.
**edit**
I ordered actual Yaxi Pads. Though they look similar, they are very different. These are rougher and much less comfortable. Also Yaxi Pads dull the Highs and make everything sound bloated and muffled. These make everything sound thin and sharp. Neither are good for Grados.

Seems like low quality foam. Comfy though.
