Great for converting your rolling stool or office chair to a more stable glide style, or replacing your old, worn glides or casters. Turn a rolling chair or stool with casters into a stationary one with these glides without affecting the overall chair height much.

These bell glides will slide when you apply force only. The perfect solution when you have a low grip floor like hardwood. Taking the wheels out and putting this was so easy. I don't think I can fathom a chair on hardwood without these anymore.
We tried these on three different pile depths of carpet and even after adding stick-on slider pads, they just don't seem to work so I doubt it's anything to do with the product itself but with the concept.
They do work very well as wheel replacements if you DO NOT want your chair to slide around your work area (and not everyone wants that).
Removed the plastic insert lining the hole where this product could be tapped into.
Snug fit and ready to use.
Replaced just back legs, so it still rolls out easy but secure enough so chair isn’t too slippery and a safety issue.
Will see how durable it will be with use.
