Anti-Dust Cooling with Dual 12V Fans
The G703GI uses dedicated copper tunnels for independently cooling the CPU and GPU to keep the temperature steadily below 85 to 99°C to prevent overheating. The ROG G703GI features two 12V fans to efficiently eject heat from the four outlets located on the laptop's left, right, and back. With the exclusive patented Anti-Dust Cooling (ADC) technology, dust and particles are ejected through the tunnels by the outer edges of the fan, preventing the accumulation of dirt on the thermal fins.

First off I travel for work so my desktop setup back home wasn’t gonna hold up obviously, so on a quick decision I bought this, such a quick decision I needed it to be overnighted to my house, these guys took my order very seriously, understood I was flying out in a day, got me a quote and got the thing to my house the next morning before my flight.
Pros- Beast at playing any game, no questions asked this will handle it, most likely on best settings too. I’m normally playing rust, Skyrim, and Witcher 3 and it smacks those games out of the park with performance and graphics turned to high.
Materials it’s made out of are strong and durable, honestly if I dropped this I would worry more about my floor then the laptop. It’ll hold up and has held up so far over 8 flights and packing and unpacking, not a scratch or blemish.
If you need a desktop replacement and you have the money, why haven’t you bought this yet? You have an amazing seller here and an even better product.
Cons- Battery life, simply put, it’s a GAMING LAPTOP, research before you buy.
It’s a 17” display, it’s beefy, I have an amazing bag to store everything in but this thing just takes up so much room for my carry on plane luggage (if you don’t fly don’t worry then)
Laptop comes with 2 chargers, TWO CHARGERS, YES they both have to be plugged in to charge (2 wall outlets) so make sure you buy a USB port so you can plug any extra items in and then charge them at the same time, for example I use automatically 2 ports for mouse and keyboard, so have the port for my headset and phone and anything else.
Lastly I’ve bought hundreds of items online from eBay, and amazon, this is the first review I’ve ever written, there’s a reason 100/10. Thank you guys for the easy sale, processing, and shipping.
Seems that this is a common problem with this laptop.
Also, the performance is not quite as high as the price.
I was expecting a bit more considering how much It cost.
I would not recommend.
Additionally, it requires two power supplies, and they are big. I have to pack a powerstrip, the two power supplies and the laptop in a special backback that I purchased. I knew it was big, but the battery only lasts for an hour, so you cannot really go anywhere without the power supplies and a plug nearby.
One of the computers is okay, the other needs repair.
I have been trying to get support to fix my under warranty computer.
But the 'support' from ASUS is THE WORST I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. I have tried 3 times to get them to work with me for repairs and they just repeat the same things over and over. I cannot send my computer out and they refuse to look for other options. It is under warranty until March of 2020. I want to return the product for a full refund after dealing with their non "customer service" service, but I have missed that window.
After asking who was in charge and that I wanted to speak with them, they told me if they were the owner of ASUS, they would NOT be speaking to me!
My suggestions for repair are:
1 Send someone to fix my computer. (They refused)
2 Send me the parts I need to fix it myself. (They refused)
3 Let me get a technician to fix it and bill you. (They refused)
4. So after the above refusals, I would like to get a full refund. (They refused)
In the back, the computer has 2 charger ports, a mini display port, and an HDMI port. On the left side it has an Ethernet port, a thunderbolt port, and one USB 3, it also has a mic input and mic output port.
Right side, 2 USB 3 ports, and an SD card reader.
That’s the info as far as ports. (If you need more USB ports I suggest grabbing a USB hub, I have one with 4 things pulling from it and they all get enough power.) 👍🏼 Great computer. Awesome speakers. Stays cool. Amazing graphics. Good drives and wicked fast. 10/10.

First off, this is pretty much the strongest laptop you can buy other then the Alienware Area 51m due to the fact it’s using a mobile cpu and not a desktop grade cpu.
The battery life is about 6 hours in optimus mode, and while in optimus, the laptop will switch automatically to discrete graphics when gaming. On discrete graphics the battery lasts about an hour and a half with g-sync enabled.
The screen is beautifully built, I saw no signs of screen bleeding or dead pixels. The brightness can be cranked up to the point of hurting your eyes so keep that in mind. No ghosting was noticed on this panel.
When it comes to gaming (which I can see this product being mainly purchased for) you can expect average temperatures on the cpu of about 70-84C. And idek temperatures of about 35-50C thanks to the liquid metal option ASUS went with.
Gaming frame rates go as followed
DooM Eternal max settings 1080p - 180-260fps
Far cry 5 max settings 1080p - 80-115fps
COD modern warfare max settings with ray tracing 1080p - -115-200fps
Apex Legends max settings 1080p - 120-144fps
This laptop has yet to see a game it cannot handle at 60+FPS maxed out which is truly impressive
As for the gpu, temps never hit over 80C under load with a +100core and +150memory OC
No thermal throttling or power throttling issues with this laptop, I used HWinfo64 to check and even under stress testing the cpu and gpu to 100% it saw no throttling of any kind.
Only cons I can say have to do with the weight (10 pounds) the size (doesn’t fit into a 17” laptop backpack) and the fact that asus went with 2 power bricks at 240w a piece instead of one monster brick.
