"Loved, loved, LOVED the spunky main character! The story was interesting and full of intense drama. Would definitely read other Jane Fenton books!"
" Thoroughly enjoyed this book! I could not put it down so I read it straight through on a Sunday afternoon. I was on the edge of my seat at the end! If you like Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, you will love Repo Girl!"--This text refers to the paperback edition.

The idea of a repo girl heroine is great, and the mystery was good, but had holes in it. The police would have done a paraffin test on the heroine and determined immediately that she had probably not fired a gun, whether her prints were on it or not, especially since she went straight to the police station without first washing up.
Second, since she destroyed the special "pen," how could she have explained to the police where she found the drug ring info she texted to the two different officers? They would have wanted to know that, even though we know why she had to destroy it.
Some have compared her to Stephanie Plum, but I found neither her nor her situations to be nearly as funny or as memorable to me, the characters' personalities not as well developed
or colorful, nor did I feel much environmental atmosphere as to the city, whereas I feel as if I really travel to Trenton and experience the character of that city when I read the Plum novels.
I don't like as much sex as is sometimes described in the Plum novels, but they also often create a sense of sexual attraction without even touching, much less all the repetitive kissing in the Repro Girl, which for me often did not really convey the feeling of attraction they were probably meant to.
I will say the person who read the Audible book did a good job, however, and I still did enjoy the book enough to finish it. I just haven't decided if the characters' personalities, lives and settings as written were compelling enough to me that I will order the next book in the series.
Andi needed a good job so she could pay her bills and keep her house. She started working for a close friend at Repo Doctor. Yup she repos cars. Everything was going good. She repo one car that the guy has a dog locked in the car on a very hot day. Andi got the car and rescued the dog and kept the dog. Andi's housemate wants her to come down to the bar where he works and wants her to meet his new boyfriend. She does and meets the band and the lead singer and drops a tray of margaritas. And the fun, danger, and love begins. Throw in a dead naked guy, a night in jail, a bail bondsman, and few other goodies and you have a fast paced murder mystery love story.
One of the best books I've read.
Looking for a great read this summer? If you like Janet Envanovich you are going to LOVE my incredibly smart and funny friend, Jane Fenton. She just released her first book, Repo Girl on Amazon! It has some great twist & turns and She keeps you guessing! You won’t regret it!
The caption, "lots of laughs" drew me to the book. I wasn't disappointed with the humor. I almost quit reading with the bad language. Although the characters aren't like Stephanie Plum's friends, they are interesting. (In a good way without the sex.) Fast-paced mystery and definitely a little romance. Andrea's spunkiness makes the plot interesting. She has to be spunky to repo cars. With a touch of mystery and excitement, I kept reading.
Favorite Line: "Stop playing Nancy Drew and leave this to the professionals."
Rating: PG-13 Curse words. Use of Jesus's name incorrectly.

I was gripped from the start. It's funny as it is dark, and Andi is such a bad*ss, it's brilliant.
Honestly, I usually suss out the culprit within the first few chapters - not in this book, I had a genuine gasp when plot unravels.
All the characters are so well thought out and engaging , the plot full of intrigue and twists.
I don't want to say too much, so get buying now, you won't regret it!
It was entertaining and kept me gripped to the end.
The characters are endearing and the plot was fast and fun but with a dark edge.
I will definitely be keeping a look out for more books by this author.
This a likeable story with enough tension even for thriller advocates.
Have a go at Andi. I'm sure you'll like her.
