I really love Tea of Good Tidings, it is very hard to find, and only goes on the market this time of year. It smells so great while brewing, and gives you the warm fuzzy feeling, that comes with the Holidays. I had some questions about this product, and contacted the seller, he got back with me, very soon, and was a great help, my product arrived in great condition, and got it much faster than expected. I will be ordering this again, and from the same company.

Flavor Name: Hot Apple CiderSize: 36 Tea Bag Tin
I think this tea tastes just like apple cider, but without the sugar. It has slight notes of cinnamon and other spices. It has the exact aroma of hot apple cider. I got this tea because I am always impressed by Republic of Tea, and this tea has really met my expectations. I tried apple tea by other companies like Celestial Seasonings, and, well, this one is just far superior. Give it a try, it's totally worth it.

I feel uncultured saying this but I don't care for this tea. Maybe my taste buds are ruined by too many years of the Celestial Seasonings apple cinnamon tea but this tea tastes like colored water in comparison--even after using twice the number of recommended tea bags. I'll keep it in case a random guest might like it (although unlikely since guests are rare at my house). I was disappointed too that the container is cardboard because it looks like tin in the images and half my reason for the purchase was to have a nice tin when the tea was finished. I didn't take stars off for that because it was my assumption that I didn't validate, but that doesn't change my disappointment..

Flavor Name: Pumpkin SpiceSize: 50 Tea Bag Tin
I am a longtime fan of Republic of Tea products (even though they can be a bit expensive), and this one is no exception.

The smell, both before and after steeping, is excellent. It reminds me a bit of my mother's Christmas cookie recipe. The black tea aroma is a little more noticeable after steeping than before. It's not strong, though, and it works well with the other flavors. The pumpkin flavor is also fairly mild.

It's the spices that really stand out, for me: ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice. One advantage of this tea over other, similarly-spiced teas, is that it's not as strong. If you are like me and tend to steep tea for a long time (or just forget that the tea bag is still in your mug), you will really like this tea. I've had some teas that got bitter from oversteeping, but this pumpkin spice tea keeps a nice flavor even with long steeping times.

The best way I can think of to describe this is like a mild chai. For "real" chai teas, you need milk and sugar to cut the strength a bit. For this tea, you don't need either (although either or both would certainly work, if that's your preference).

I find myself making this over and over again at work; it tastes great and makes my office smell wonderful. Also, for what it's worth, Republic of Tea uses sustainable resources to make their products and the tea bags are unbleached, which cuts down on chemicals used during processing. (This is not an organic product, however.)

I keep Tea of Good Tidings on a shelf for holidays. I love the unique aromatic blend (contains cranberry, black tea leaves, juniper berries, orange peel, cloves, rose petals, almonds, vanilla and black currant, and cardamon) In spite of all those listed flavors, the taste is sufficiently mild to be appealing to someone who does not like heavy, sweet spiced tea. I find it a nice change from my regular ginger peach. Since this blend contains black tea, it does contain caffeine, but not as much as stronger black teas, or coffee. The graphic on the package indicates caffeine content is about 40% that of brewed coffee.

Flavor Name: Caramel AppleSize: 36 Tea Bag Tin
I expected something a bit heavier when I purchased this tea, but was surprised by the light flavor that the tea actually has. I suppose I expected the heaviness due to the caramel in the name, and how caramel tends to be a heavy food. But the caramel is the one flavor I cannot really taste in the brew. I actually prefer light bodied teas, so expectations were low when I made the purchase, but the Caramel Apple Rooibus is now one of my favorites of all time from The Republic of Tea.

P.S. To add to the experience, the tea aroma is very bold and not unlike a fresh pouch of apple flavored pipe tobacco. The aroma is actually the only loud aspect of the brewed drink, and makes non tea drinkers in the office very curious about this tea drinking experience.

Christmas is a tea cup! I tasted this at a holiday event and was amazed at the flavor and aroma. I am not a tea drinker, but asked the waiter for the brand name. I have fallen in love with The Republic of Tea and am jow an advid tea drinker. I have tried 5 blends and love them all. If, like me, your tea experience has been limited to the grocery store offerings, I would highly recommend giving this a try. You will be amazed at what 'good tea' actually tastes and smells like.

I love hot carmel apple cider, but I hate the calories so I figured this would be a good alternative. I do like this tea, but I find that there is a slight after taste that just seems fakely sweet which turned me off a little. I'm not sure how to explain it. I did like the sample packs they sent and will probably try other flavors.
