The hardcover is fine, and the binding appears to be okay.
This book was helpful not only in inspiring numerous ideas, but also for explaining what it means to design an outdoor space.
I have learned so much just from looking through the pictures, and now I am reading through the text, and it is starting to make a lot of sense to me. highly recommend this book to any homeowner who is wanting to learn about landscape architecture, or is looking for creative new ideas for an existing space.
A small gripe: I only wish that the illustrations were in color!
