I'm a rookie with pouring and working with Resin. These molds have worked perfectly so far for my application. The size is nice for a small paperweight or just to make random castings like I've been doing.
It's a good quality mold in construction. I just am not interested in the domed type shape of what will be the top of the finished piece. Will probably try it out some time, but right now the shape's not working for me. Probably should have paid more attention to the description, but honestly not sure if it specified this.

I use this mold to encapsulate things into a cabochon. It's not perfectly shiny but not matte either. Simply do a clear layer not filling to the top, place your object inside, let cure or at least get tacky, apply a colored layer to top off your cabochons. Resin to plastic mold release helps a lot, if you're new to resin I recommend getting a bottle
works well! i made many epoxy pendants with this thing. as long as you keep it clean and unscratched it seems like it will go indefinitely. sometimes it's hard to get the cured epoxy out.
