“Sometimes it takes someone who grew up outside of America to remind us just how exceptional a nation we were blessed to be born in. Nick Adams makes a distinctive, fresh, provocative and insightful argument for more American leadership in a changing world.” (Dana Perino, former White House Press Secretary and Fox News Co-Host of The Five)
"Retaking America will infuriate and inspire you, with its point-by-point, fiery deconstruction of the Left's strong-arm strategy for silencing conservatives, and its passionate call to arms. Sometimes you have to go outside the country to get the best perspective on the country. Explosive, devastating and at times, laugh-out-loud hilarious, Adams provides an acute, eye-opening and inspiring analysis of the incompatibility of political correctness and the American idea. The young Australian may not be politically correct, but he’s closer to dead-on accurate than 95% of the voices you have heard in the past many years." (Hugh Hewitt, nationally syndicated radio host)
“Political correctness has a big mouth, and Nick Adams fills it with a well-deserved knuckle sandwich. Retaking America is an unvarnished lo-down from Down Under that encourages the US of A to snap out of it, embrace is frontier spirit, and beat the tar out of the insanity and the real worldwide threat to freedom that the PC jihad poses. Adams once again provides a terrific read that tells the Left in plain and simple Aussie where it can stick its tucker bag.” (National Review)
“Nick Adams is back, more fearless than ever. Retaking America is candid, funny, bold, and compulsory reading for all patriotic Americans. A rousing manifesto against liberal thuggery, this terrific page-turner shines a light on liberal hypocrisy, intolerance and elitism, while spearing the ‘progressive’ anti-American agenda. My job is to keep company with heroes – those who put themselves at risk for the benefit of others. The brave Americans I cover for Fox News didn’t volunteer to fight for gold, oil, colonial conquest, political correctness or the ‘international community’. They are fed up with so-called progressives. The Left seek to silence and intimidate in the name of political correctness. Don’t let them shut you up. ‘We the people’ must read Retaking America, and learn how to fight back!” (Lt. Col. Oliver North, Fox News)
“In his classic no-nonsense tone, Nick Adams examines the etymology of politically correct speech. He shines a light on its purpose, and explains with acerbic wit its transformation of language from a vehicle to explain and clarify, into one to conceal and obfuscate. A must-read!” (Dick Morris, former adviser to President Bill Clinton)
"Nick Adams understands that it's not just character that counts in this world, but characters. With a vision of America as a bold and bright tapestry woven from the fabric of our unique lives, Nick has penned an ode to individuality as well as a game plan to push back against the intellectual intolerance and political correctness threatening to choke off our freedom of expression and the American way of life." (NRA (National Rifle Association) NEWS)
“Nick loves his native Australia, but the words ‘God Bless America’ are often on his lips. He is fast becoming a de Tocqueville for our times in that he understands – and writes passionately about -- what makes America exceptional among the nations of the world. So every time I hear him say ‘God Bless America,’ I think to myself: ‘God Bless Australia – for sending us Nick Adams.’” (WORLD Magazine)
“Kudos to Adams for his provocative and impassioned defense of the American idea, and let us heed his clarion call to abolish political correctness and ensure that the American idea is not relegated to the dustbin of a history written by progressive academics.” (Ben Weingarten, The Blaze)
“Retaking America is an inspiring analysis of why America remains the moral beacon for faith and freedom in the world. A fun, engaging read, with an exciting and needed call to combat political correctness. Young Aussie Nick Adams hits this one out of the park.” (Ralph Reed, Faith & Freedom Coalition)

The book is pretty much what you would expect, but still a very enjoyable and quick read. There are some outrageous examples of PC run amok that I wasn't aware of before. And as an Aussie immigrant, he offers a somewhat unique perspective to our American problems.
This book would be especially enlightening to a "low information voter" who is unaware of how pervasive PC is in our culture, but I suspect in the main he will be "preaching to the choir". (There's probably some reason that's non-PC.)
As an aside, there are quite a lot of typos in my Kindle version, although you can almost always figure out what is meant.
In summary, an enjoyable and quick read.
