From the Author
Retiree began as a flash of inspiration inside a hotel room in Scranton, PA, during a respite from a contract IT job. I wrote the initial rushes in screenplay format. I left it to ferment while I did rewrites and editing on the Vegas Apocalypse book series, which are also available through the Kindle store (Frederick Noble was the creator and primary author. I contributed substantially to the content.).
Many of the technological concepts came from The Great Outback, the first book of a series which is now available through the Kindle Store. Many of these ideas have already become common as authors and engineers have striven to make workable user interfaces between humanity and machine.
