Love the Ink!
I really enjoyed testing these today. I have bought these in the past but didn’t really like writing with them. I thought I would give them another try. I can honestly say I really like them. I will say the light green is too light for not taking but maybe good for coloring. The set was a bit pricy at $29. As someone who can’t stand to have mistakes in their notes and hates white out of any kind. These will come in handy. I know my old ones have dried out, but they were only used a few times and have sat for 4 years. All in all these are a good quality pen!

    I have been skeptical of these for years. But I wanted colorful pens I could erase for work plans I do daily. I was wasting so much paper when I made a mistake. I decided to just go for it and purchase a pack. I wish I had done it sooner! They erase really well, the ink writes smoothly. I use them daily, multiple colors, all day long, so I think that speaks to the longevity and durability. They function as necessary. The grip is functional, but not as nice as other pen grips (like the Energel or Ink Joy, but better than the non-existent grip on the flair pens). I will definitely buy these again!

    I loved these pens! I bought them for my daughter for school, and she loved them! They worked really well and erased clean! The cons? Like most reviews say, the ink dries up pretty fast. (We've bought them twice now.) They say refillable on the package, but the refills never come in a whole set, just maybe 1-3 colors. So, until they make the refills come in a complete set of 15 colors, we will just buy the pens over and over. Another con is that if you are writing on a paper that has printed lines on it and you write on the lines, then try to erase it, it won't erase clean. It will leave a blackish mark. But I won't take stars off for that. It seems pretty reasonable/Logical for it to do that. In conclusion, these pens were awesome! Perfect to have fun taking notes, and not be afraid to mess up!

    I discovered erasable pens and then quickly found out they are not all equal. But long story short, they're pretty close... decent color, good erasing...

    First pics show writing/colors. Last 3 show disappearing with heat, coming back after one minute in freezer, then after several mins in freezer.

    Pilot Frixion Clicker Gel Pens: my least favorite color-wise; not as vibrant and write more like traditional pens than the nicer wetter inks of the other three sets. They are nicer to hold with the rubber grip. More expensive and fewer colors than off brands. Disappears with heat and doesn't come back as strong as the off-brands with cold. Unclear if it fades over time. My least favorite overall.

    Lineon Erasable Gel Pens: These feel pretty nice and have a vibrant ink. There's two turquoise that look like the same color, and a 3rd pen that's also very similar. Colors a little less vibrant than Frixion Color Sticks and Parkoo. Color fades with heat and comes back immediately with cold. Insert says that "the ink will fade with time passing by for its erasable nature". I'm wondering if this is true for all erasable pens but the only information I've found online about fading is around hot and cold. Something to consider if you're using these in a journal or something you want to keep. Insert also specifies not to use these for official documents or writing addresses on mail.

    Parkoo Erasable Gel Pens: Most vibrant and my favorite choice of color options. Nice to hold and erase extra well like the Lineon. These come back with cold immediately too after disappearing due to heat.

    Pilot Frixion Clicker Gel Pens: These have a nice wet ink compared to the other Pilot clicker pens that write more like a traditional pen. They're not as nice to hold, but I found and used these first for awhile before I tried the others, and I never thought, "Oh these don't feel great to hold...". And on the plus side, they're more streamlined - so if you're like me and have a writing utensil obsession, these take up considerably less space than the fatter pens with the grips. These also erase a little better than the Pilot clicker pens. But the off brands both erased the best for me. (They all erase plenty well enough in my opinion). More expensive and fewer colors than the off-brands too. Disappears with heat and doesn't come back as strong as the off-brands with cold. Unclear if it fades over time.

    I ordered the Vanstek pens too but they are slow to ship so maybe next time...

    I'm taking a copyediting / proofreading course and my instructor specifically recommended these PILOT pens. They're erasable ink! I've been using them for a few weeks now and also love them. These pens are not perfect - to start with, they are a bit pricey - but they are so unique they are worth the costs. The ink really does totally erase, using the built-in eraser tip. You'll never use all of the eraser top, so it's not a problem there.

    I do find that the ink can 'goop' a bit with these pens, but nothing terrible. And, after all, they are erasable. This particular tip is a fine point (0.7 mm) which I find easy to read. I've just ordered the super-fine tip (0.5 mm) set, so hopeful those will allow me a little more precision.

    I like how this is a multi-colour set, but I do wish there were more of the standard colours (more red, which is the most common copy-editing colour to use). In any event, these would be great pens to also give kids, as you can erase their work if needed - although I haven't tried other surfaces than paper lol.

    In sum, these are great, unique gel ink pens, and definitely worth the money!
