I was a little leery of this controller as it sounded too good to be true. After having used it for a few weeks, that fear is put to rest. The controller feels solid and good in the hands, and could pass as a first-party controller. Even the case that it comes in oozes "premium quality."

Having a true wireless Saturn controller is amazing. As a bonus, it works flawlessly with the Sega Genesis Mini as well, as it comes with both adapters.

Different from 8bitdo controllers, these come with 2 different wireless adapters.
One that you can use directly on your Sega Saturn and another USB adapter where you can use this controller in basically any computer like with a usb port. ( Please check the official web page for support)

I couldn't notice any lag while playing with it and the battery last for a long time, it didn't die on me while playing for many hours.
The size of it on my hand feels good and comfortable. It feels like playing on the original controller or even better. The main difference is on the weight as it feels a little too light, but that is fine imho and helps in long play sessions.

These controllers are great! They come on a super cool controller case, where you can store your controller with it's adapters safe and sound. I love when a company take their time to make a solid overall experience and this controller is it. Made from Gamers to Gamers.

I've using this pad on an original Sega Saturn for a few weeks to play and, besides the headaches in the initial pairing process it's working really well (I had to turn off/reset the controller a few times until the dongle paired with it).

-I feel like it's a bit underweighted, but that's no Retrobit's fault; the original Saturn pad feels this way.
-The build quality is really good; it looks like an original Sega Saturn controller
-The price point is really good, and you can use the pad on several systems
-My only gripe is the d-pad is a bit rotated, but again, this is not Retrobit's fault; the original Saturn pad has this same "issue"... is just a matter to get used to it.

Edit: Recently I've had issues with this pad involving pairing and battery life when used with MiSTer. I finally found my solution: Fast USB Polling made functionality unstable for some reason. When I disabled fast USB, the issues went away. Now for the old review:
I'm currently using this with the FPGA MiSTer and am very happy with it.
*Feels lag-free
*Great D-pad, especially with Sega titles
*Wireless dongles for both USB and Saturn
*Enough buttons for emulating any 2D console
*Great battery life
*Con: C Button sometimes sticks
*Con: Lag feels more noticeable from 10+ feet
Not only does it feel like a wired controller at close range, but it has enough buttons to approximate almost every pre-analog controller. (Enough face buttons for Genesis plus shoulder buttons for SNES.) There's even an extra button on the front. Beyond this, the d-pad is great and the presentation is stellar. Nintendo games feel strange with a Sega pad but clone NES pads often feel worse. I have to say I love the authentic-looking Saturn packaging and receivers for both console and USB. While the included plastic carrying case is unnecessary, it certainly keeps me from losing whatever dongle I'm not using at the moment. And, as with most wireless controllers these days, battery life is not an issue. Highly recommended!

Originally I intended on buying extension cables for my original Saturn controllers but opted for this instead since they are official Sega controllers and are nearly indistinguishable from the originals. I'm very happy with these and you get a lot for what is, in my opinion, a very low price. They come with both a Saturn receiver and a USB receiver. That means you can use them with your Saturn as well as a Genesis mini, Switch, PS3, PC, Mac and more! I use them most with my Saturn but they've been great for the Genesis mini as well. They also come with a case so you don't lose the receiver you aren't using and can put the whole package set away if needed. My only gripe is they seem to discharge relatively quickly when not in use. If you put the controller away for a couple weeks, expect to have to charge it before the next use even if you left it fully charged.

I use this primarily with my MiSTer FPGA. As someone who is very sensitive to latency, I find this does not negatively affect my experience at all. The Buttons feel great, they are a little loose but it is my impression that is how the controller originally felt. The Dpad is best in class, I definitely enjoy it more than the Nintendo style. My only complaints are things you can't possibly blame the controller for, like it feeling a bit odd with SNES games, since it is strange holding down the run button while jumping and such. But honestly, every retro gamer needs a Nintendo style controller and a Sega style if you ask me. You will probably enjoy the controller, if you have a Saturn then this controller is basically mandatory.

Also this controller is great for Spelunky 2.

I've been looking to get one of the Retro-Bit Sega Saturn controllers for a while, but they released this version and I had to have it.

Not only does it look amazing with the clear shell and lovely display case, it also has amazing functionality thanks to both the usb and the the original saturn wireless recievers packed in. For anyone curious about pc use, it can switch between x-input and d-input for various games.
