This is a great alternative to the infamous N64 controllers... A common theme in the negative reviews is that the Joystick is too sensitive. I personally tested this with my original N64 controllers (which have very little wear and tear) and I found this to be not ture (or at least not enough to be noticeable at all). I would guess that people report this experience because they are used to their old (used and run down) N64 controller where the joystick has lost some of its range of motion.
Pros:
1) Much more comfortable to hold
2) Much improved Joystick
Cons:
1) It is a little too light weight and feels cheapy in that sense
2) Cable is far too short (fixable with an extender)
3) Z trigger for some reason is a physical button even though the N64 does not recognize any range of button sensitivity. (in other words, this controller has an Xbox style trigger button for the Z button on the N64... this is strange because the Z button on the N64 was just a button not a trigger, meaning it had no range of motion other than being fully pressed. This caused some unnecessary travel when you to press the Z button because the N64 does not register any pressure sensitivity on that button except for pressing it fully).
