Also, the D-pad is a little bit wonky, but that's more an issue with the original Mega Drive controller it's trying to mimic rather than with this reproduction. Just bear that in mind.
The good bits:
Works great. Tried it with the Sega Mega Drive Collection on Steam as well as a few different 3rd party emulators like Fusion and Gens and it works just as you'd expect. The device works just fine right out of the box with Windows 7 with Plug and Play. No setup or calibration required.
My only real complaint is it's size. It's based on the smaller model Japanese Mega Drive controller rather than the larger US one. Not really a big deal though.
I ordered a few of the Play Sega (7-10 bucks) controllers they made for their old game rental website, these are better that the Retro Link but worse than OEM. There are some VERY high priced OEM USB controllers called the SLS Control Pad for the Sega Saturn that are probably the best you can buy, but they run 100-150 bucks. Alternatively, you can buy an OEM controller and get the USB Converter dongle. OEM controllers are pretty cheap, 5-10 bucks, and the dongle is about 10 on Amazon. Also you could use a completely unrelated controller like the 360 controller, but you prolly already have that.
The shipping is exactly the same as the price of controller but it didn't stop me from getting the good old days nostalgia.

Enttäuschend
Hay un botón en la parte superior derecha del mando en el que pone "MODE" que no sé para qué sirve.
The build doesn't feel like original controller although it doesn't really matter if you're playing sonic on your break.
