The Venus-1 is a peppy one gear that will never leave you wanting more. This bike weighs less because it’s equipped with a single gear. Its simplicity is the basis of its appeal. With fewer gears, it will need less maintenance over its lifetime. Sometimes less is more.
The Venus-3 flaunts a Sturmey Archer three-speed internal hub, which both has a cleaner look and is very low maintenance compared to derailleurs. Sturmey Archer has been an industry leader for over 113 years. This drivetrain shifts very easily and precisely with the RevoShift grip shifter.
The Venus-7 creates more opportunity for different kinds of riding. With the Shimano Altus seven-speed drivetrain, you can ride across a wider range of terrain, which is great for longer commutes. Shifting is easy, intuitive, reliable, and precise with the RevoShift grip shifter.
Venus Step-Thru Frame
Our UrbanComfort frame will send you over the moon. It’s hand-built, tig-welded, high-tensile strength steel for durability and shock absorption. Our step-thru style sports a downward angled top tube, making it easier to get on and off.
Our Venus Step-Thru city bike is dripping with retro charm. It comes with an already installed rear rack that is sturdier for more riding versatility. The Venus also sports vintage-inspired metal fenders and chrome front bike light.

PS: did you all catch the reference to Queen's "Bicycle Race" in the title? ^__^
The headlight is all plastic. (Unlike the originals from Holland it tries to mimic). It requires a screw driver or small coin to replace the batteries. The bell is thin and had to be bent back in shape. For me these are not important. So: 5 stars.
Thanks for reaching out to us on this! We're sorry to hear that you're having issues with that bicycle! We'd be happy to replace a fender for you! Just shoot me an e-mail at email@example.com, and we'll get it out to you as fast a possible. Thanks!
We look forward to hearing from you,

The bike arrived mostly assembled as others have mentioned and it wasn't scratched or bent. I did take it to my bike shop after I put it together just to have them inspect everything. It was nice that the bike already came with a rear rack as I usually have to buy one because I use side baskets. The old-fashion bell that came with it looks just fine. (I lost the attachment for the vintage headlight that also came with the bike, so I can't comment on that.)
The paint job is nice and there is a white striping detail on the black frame that adds to the vintage feel of the bike.
I've now replaced the handle bars with ones that are more cushioned as I did with the seat. I added a front basket and two folding metal ones that are attached to the rack. I also added a coffee cup holder to the front handle. This bike is my 'car' so adding and replacing items makes sense for me as I use it almost every day. I'll probably replace the pedals for ones that are a little wider.
I'm still not sure about the handle bar though. It's positioned so that your arms are high up and you are not leaning forward on the bike---you are sitting totally upright. It still feels weird to me. On the plus side, the 'step-through' does make it a lot easier for wearing skirts/dresses.
I wish the front tire wasn't a quick-release. Something about the structure of the frame (maybe it's the step-through) makes it harder to lock the bile via the front tire & frame to poles or bike racks. I had to buy a long cable lock that would go through the front tire and part of the frame. I don't think I'll ever use the quick-release: I've never used it on all my other city-style bikes.
So, to the manufacturer---is this necessary given the kind of bike rider who will buy this style of bike?
