This album I heard back in 1980. 2 songs were featured in the movie "Hardcore" with George C. Scott. Willie DeVille was way ahead of his time. This cd is crystal clear. Brings great memories back!

Well, it's another one of those CD/LP/Cassette/MiniDisc purchases that really has only one object song. The song is "Soul Twist", and it's a mostly unknown R&R tune that's as good as anything out there. Strong, thumping, foot pounding, air-drumming magnificence. I don't remember where I first heard it, but it was probably on KTIM one night, and it was probably played by Paul Boucher (sp), the resident jive-ass DJ de jur. One of the formative people in my musical life, just so you all know. I owe him a lot.
