Reuben Kincaid: You can read about it when I write my memoirs, "The Thrilling Adventures of Reuben Kincaid".

Laurie Partridge: It'll be a thin book.

It may be a thinner book than some celebrity memoirs, but it is thick with enjoyable reading. Mr. Madden's life account is plain and simple, with plenty of great stories about his life and early career as a stand-up comic. His book would not be complete without his personal Partridge Family and Laugh-In anecdotes of which he generously provides. His Reuben Kincaid character is one of my favorite classic tv characters. Thank you Dave, for this gift to your fans.

Enjoyed this book very much. I knew Dave when he was starting his career and many years into it.The book took me back to that time with great memories.I find it very hard to believe it has been so long since we have seen him.. I'm so glad he and his wife are happy, and wish them the best. Crystal Collins Christiansen aka Chris Kulesh. Sept..2013

I really admire Dave Madden and his understated talent. Was fun on Laugh-In and noteworthy on The Partridge Family. I find the man Dave Madden endearing and my only criticism - is that I would have loved the book to be 10 times longer with more stories, more information and more to learn. I hope the sales of this book and the appreciation of same make Dave Madden pleased and smile! If you ever liked him in particular, or just enjoyed The Partridge Family- buy the book and get some smiles of your own!

Dave Madden is terrific! What an entertaining book. I loved reading his memoirs and getting the "inside scoop" on The Partridge Family. It was especially gratifying to read that David Cassidy is a nice guy. Makes the crush I still have on him less embarrassing--who'd want to have a crush on a creep? Dave Madden's led an interesting life and he did a good job putting it on paper (or on computer).

I really enjoyed this book. Dave Madden seems like such a nice guy. I thought it was funny, light hearted and honest. I would love to belong to Davy's Navy group because I think it would be a blast. This is a fun read. If you enjoyed the Partridge Family growing up as a kid you will probably enjoy this book.

Like Danny Bonnaduce, I have a weakness for Madden. The book is fun as you expect the man to be. One can enjoy his humble and flexible approach to life.
