Not for Mr Caleb. In his second book, he dares to turn near everything upside down.
But it works. The plot twist and turns really shows how clueless Aaron and Adam are and how behind they are in the events that are unfolding in the Cobalt Heresy universe.
Yet they soldier on and manage to put their make in the world, even against all the various giants they are with or against. Will Adam and Aaron pull a Dark Soul (sue me, I a gamer), going from insignificant puppet, to defeating the giants of the story's universe, only time will tell?
I want to read more. Keep up your great story telling Mr Caleb. While as per normal I will howl for more books, longer books and why books end. Know that, it is because I really enjoy your's and your brother's stories and I read to fast .... Keep it up.
PS: Normally would give this only a 4, as I believe only OMG EPIC books should get a 5. But Caleb is really a promising new author that I feel other fantasy / scifi readers should pick up his books and enjoy.
you write better than your brother. OR, if your Luke under yet another ignorant name, you're getting better at dropping all those British expressions which irritate the hell out of Americans (which are people of every nation out there).
I'm quite positive you gained many fans with your good writing and lost probably at least as many with that nono you performed with no followup.
Still, good luck with your career.
