I’m very happy with these mats. For the longest time I used parchment paper and while it worked, I always felt guilty that I was throwing so much paper into the trash. I wanted to switch to something a little more eco-friendly (same reason why I swapped from paper towels to swedish dish cloths ). I figured I couldn’t be the only one who feels this way so I took to Amazon to see what they had.

Lo and behold, there were plenty of reusable mats to choose from. I didnt recognize any of the brands so I just went for one that had a good price and good reviews. I used them right away for a batch of cookies and they worked wonderfully. They’re nonstick so I didnt even have to apply oil to the bottom either! The silicone material is high quality as far as I can tell- it didn’t get too hot even after I put it in the oven for 30 minutes.

They are easy to clean as well. The first few times I put it in the dishwasher (you can fold them in half if you want to save space) but afterwards I just started to wash it by hand. It doesn’t even get that dirty! In fact you can probably just wipe them clean with a cloth or something.

I did run into one issue though. One of my baking pans didn’t fit properly so I had to trim the mat. I wasn’t sure what I should do at first but then I decided to just go for it. I figured even if I render it unusable, I still have three. Anyways so I cut them carefully with a pair of scissors. To my pleasant surprise they will performed great in the hot oven. Like the other ones there’s no sticking whatsoever and they’re still easy to clean.

Absolutely non-stick liners work better than parchment.
Even parchment allows some things to stick a bit, but nothing sticks to these liners, thus far. The first thing I baked on them were sticky maccaroons and the printed circles helped me to keep them uniform in size. The cookies lifted right off.
Next I used the liners for baking sourdough breads. The bottom crusts were perfect and no sticking even without using cornmeal.
Today I will be baking macarons.

The only thing I don’t like is that the pans I ah e are not the same size as these mats but as I use them more they relax a little and fit better except where it’s an issue of being shorter than the pan. Super easy to use and clean. I use one daily in my toaster oven for breakfast. Have leaned that any area not covered by food turns brown after daily use. It doesn’t seem to affect the function just scared me a little at first.

The silicon molds do not work for French method macarons. They all cracked on the top. The same batter I used parchment paper on the other half and they turned out fine.

Edit: Second time they turned out well. I have been using parchment paper for macarons for years and using this mold is very different. 1, let them dry twice longer than parchment paper. 2, do not smash too hard compare to parchment paper 3, make almost stiff peaks for silicon mold, not stiff peaks.
