Short review: decent sound quality and good looks but are VERY uncomfortable after 40+ minutes of use. If you're using for less than that, these are solid bluetooth headphones.
-Sound quality is decent. Good lows, okay mids and highs. Admittedly not an audiophile but I have heard much better and worse.
-Noise isolation isn't great but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I kind of like having an awareness of things around me (e.g. being able to respond when someone calls my name) rather than being completely shut-out from the outside environment.
-Controls are easy to use and the headset paired with my laptop, iPhone, and iPad easily
-Option of having a 3.5mm connection in case the battery wears out.
-MicroUSB for charging is a great interface, making the cord easy to replace if lost/damaged.
-Battery life is very good so far.
-Mic voice quality was good and I didn't have any trouble with credit card orders spoken over the phone.
-Look great and the build quality seems to be solid.
-Ear pads can rotate a fair amount to help with comfort.
These are not comfortable after about 40 minutes. All of the pressure used to hold the headphones on your head are isolated to your ears which cannot stand the force for extended periods. I even tried to stretch them out overnight by putting them over a large dome but it didn't help.Read more ›
+ Bluetooth headphones that can convert to 3.5mm Aux connection (cable included)
+ Great battery life - I've used these guys for up to 5hrs with it still going strong on streaming
+ Comfy ear pads and easy controls with rich, clear sound make this is a high quality headset
+ Foldable for portability
+ Aggressive price point- for the quality you get out of these headphones, $40 is a decent price to pay, especially considering all the added perks of the headset (included mic, 3.5mm compatibility, portable folding)
- No travel bag included (boo)
- The ears get a little hot after using it for a while. After 5hrs of listening I had little sweat marks on my earcups, which is pretty gross
I haven't dealt with RevJams customer service as of yet. They seem to have been responsive to emails when I was first asking about the product and information.
Overall, I'd recommend these to anyone looking for an easy, comfortable set of headphones they want to toss in a bag and occasionally break out for long trips on plane/train/car. Audiophiles might not find the sound quality acceptable, but I think for the average consumer they're going to get the job done and save your bank account some damage.
I love the concept of wireless freedom. Hopefully these will have solved the problems I have had with other brand. They come with a cord if you want to use them wired and a nice bag to store them in. They sound great to me, of course I'm no expert at this, I just like how they sound. They don't "cancel" out surrounding sound, I can still hear my husband talk to me, but they will get really loud if I want to drown out the TV he is watching. They adjust to fit my head just fine and I don't have any trouble with comfort on a long trip, (90 min drive to visit Mom & Dad). I just adjust them where they barely touch the top of my head. The pads are square and my ears sink into the cushions for a snug fit. Very different from the cup style.
If you don't want to pay an arm & leg for a nice pair of wireless head phones that will pair with your tablet or phone, yes you can use them to talk on the phone, how cool is that, then these are for you too. If you want something high tech sounding then be prepared to pay a high tech price. These work, simple and sweet. I'll be using these, hopefully, for a very long time. :)
