Product description

Imatchination Board Game in 30 second, players write down as many words relating to the word or image on the playing card as they can. It is fast and furious word association. Educational, Fun, and Competitive. How well do you know your partner is the true key to winning.

Man, those rule writers at Reveal Entertainment are so strict! Not only are the words "putt" and "putter" or "sink" and "kitchen sink" not a match, but they actually saw fit to include in the instructions a specific penalty for any team caught cheating. But, as your third-grade teacher was wont to say, "Cheaters only cheat themselves." And why would you want to deny yourself the fast-moving fun of Imatchination, the game of the half-minute mind meld? Teams of two race to the finish by matching, with brutal rule-abiding precision, words pertaining to a word or picture on any of the 220 cards (some of which are frustrating. We're still unclear whether one rendering depicts a loaf of bread, a chef's toque, or a head of cauliflower). Maybe it's a drawing of a skyscraper; maybe the word "green." Either way, you've got 30 seconds to write as many corresponding words as you can, in the hope that your partner is writing the same ones. And don't try to prepare a strategy with your teammate beforehand. The rules will deal with you in ways your third-grade teacher never dreamed of. --Tony Mason
