Oh Mrs. Golland, you have the GREATEST ability to create the perfect characters. Your women are fierce, strong, sassy and independent. Your men are some of the most swoon worthy, charming and sexy as fck!!!
You are my go-to-author and I know that anything you create will be bad ass and absolutely amazing. Your stories give me ALL THE FEELS!!!!!
I mean Brad....OMFG *fanning myself with my tongue hanging out* He was just too much. Adorable, sexy, charming, the list goes on. I fell for him in Revue and I didn't think it could get better but you've done it!
Em was super funny and sexy. She had a wildness about her but was vulnerable and I really felt for her. I felt her anxiety and the push and pull of her thoughts and depression.
There's an ease to your stories - your writing style is great and I love how the dialogues flow well and sound real and not robotic. Your characters speak like everyday people (at least in my world) and I find it makes everything so relatable.
Brad and Em where such a great couple. He was exactly what she needed and became the calm in her storm. Their banter and relationship was so funny since both were born smart-asses and the sexual chemistry was out of this world. They definitely got me all worked up.
I was intrigued with the element of Em's part-time job of being a professional sexter and the whole issue of MrHappy (aka H). I liked him and my heart hurt for Em because of the decisions she had to make. H surprised me in the end and I was disappointed in him and really felt sorry for him - what was done was inexcusable.
Overall I LOVED the story as I knew I would and heard the message that was being conveyed through Em. I highly recommend this story as well as ALL stories/series by the fabulous KM GOLLAND

KM Golland has done it again!!!

This, the second book in her Wild Nights Series, was even better than her first.

I loved Brad when we first met him in Revue, and now I can honestly say I'm in love with him. Who wouldn't want a blonde Adonis God as a boyfriend. Who wouldn't want to run their fingers all over his toned, sexy body? But it wasn't just his looks that got me, it was his personality. He would have to be one of the cheesiest, most adorable males I have had the pleasure to read about. He's just so laid back and takes everything in his stride.

What do I say about Emily, or Em for short? I loved her. Witty, strong, cheeky and comes out with the best one-liners I have ever heard. She totally cracks me up. But Em also has her vulnerable side and this is what makes her totally realistic.

We also catch up with Cori and Josh and the rest of the boys too. We really need a book about Noah. Or as Noah would say "About me, a book we do need!" The Tower of Terror scene - an absolute classic - rivals the Bridge scene from book one!!!

Kelly I don't think I've ever laughed so much when I've read a book. I had tears flowing at times from laughing so much. Thank you for that.

Reveal is definitely a book I will recommend to all of my friends .... maybe even my enemies!!!!

Having read Revue I was greatly looking forward to diving back into the Revue team and reading Brad and Em's story. But.... Kel Golland spends a lot of time giving readers a glimpse into Em's life. I don't know how she does it, it's truly a talent, as a consumer (albeit I claim I inhale books like I used to eat next to no time you don't realise you into the pack and it's almost gone) but she reveals the story layer by layer, and I must confess the ending was great but not quite what I expected. I think that was the best part - because as a reader we can become jaded and expect things to flow a certain way. So when an author takes us on this journey, turns and twists and destinations not expected are a welcomed surprise.

I liked how Kelly looked beyond the cliche one dimensional characteristics of her characters - touching in perceptions of how we cope when things in life get tough, mental health and the stigmatisation of it, even as far as dealing with shame and guilt. A great read, loved it.

I was given the opportunity to receive "Reveal" as an ARC for my honest review. Loved this book, great continuation of the Wild Nights series. Em is Cori's BFF & she has come to spend some much needed time with Cori, but Cori has other plans & throws surfer/stripper Brad Em's way knowing they would be perfect for each other. They hit it off from the get go, but Em holds back scared of what may happen & feeling as though she is betraying Mr. Happy in a way. Brad is so patient with her, taking all her stunts & hot & cold feelings in stride. Loved the mix of emotions in this book. I think you definitely need to read "Revue" first, so you know the story with Cori & Josh. This is a must read for sure, you won't be disappointed.

It is hard for me to write this review because I loved Revue, making me a fan if KM Golland. I loved Brad in Revue and anxiously awaited his book when it was announced, but this book just didn't do it for me. I had mixed feelings about Em. I loved that she did what she wanted and owned her sexuality, but her insecurity with telling the people she cared about about her side job, even Cori, was too different from the independent girl we see throughout the story. The biggest frustration with her character was her relationship with Mr. H. She was dependent on him in a weird way. I could see how he manipulated her, why couldn't she. She was smart and didn't take crap from anyone, but she occasionally did from him. I also loved Brad so much that I found myself angry with Em many times for her behavior. On a positive note, Brad and Em were great. The chemistry between them was palpable and oozed off the page.

I also really missed the guys. Revue spends a good time with the boys, and part of what I loved about that book was the dynamic among the characters. My favorite parts of Reveal were the scenes with all the boys. I was hoping each of these boys would get a book, but based on the conclusion of the book it doesn't seem like that will happen 😔.

I did love what we got to see of Josh and Cori, but I didn't like that the last time the reader really sees them in detail, they are fighting and he isn't speaking to her. Of course they make up, but we don't see that. We are only privy to the fight. If I see the fight I want to see them okay, because I'm invested in them from book one. I get that some people would say it isn't their book, but then I don't want to see a huge fight between them.

If this was my first book by the author, I probably would have given it a two ⭐️ review, but I love her work and love Revue so much that I can't give it lower than three ⭐️.
