About the Author
Gary L. Huffman grew up on a farm at Highwood, Montana – 40 miles east of Great Falls. The little Methodist church he attended with his family was greatly influenced by the Charismatic Movement, and so was he. As a teenager, he was lured into the New Age movement... he blames it on the Beatles! He tried the meditation thing plus yoga as well as other New Age practices. To make a long story short, God delivered him out of all of that and he has been serving the Lord ever since. As a member of the Christian folk/rock group in Seattle called the New Men, he first heard a teaching on the Feast of Tabernacles that started him on the journey of this book. He has taught this in various forms to small groups in his church. He and his wife, Paula, have 7 children, 10 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild! They live in Great Falls where he works on Malmstrom Air Force Base as a graphic and web designer. Gary likes to paint and still plays the guitar, harmonica and sings “Dylan” style. S. Douglas Woodward, Th.M. grew up in Oklahoma City, where he now lives once again, after working in Boston for 6 years and Seattle for 21. Doug’s experience lies primarily in business where he has been an executive for Oracle, Microsoft, and a partner at Ernst & Young. He also founded his own company, Smart Starters, which he ran for 10 years, before becoming an Adjunct Professor at the University of Oklahoma, Price School of Business, where he teaches entrepreneurship. Over the past seven years, Doug has written 15 books, counting this one, on the topics of America’s spiritual history, eschatology, and geopolitics. He loves movies, research, and writing and attempts to stay culturally alert. He appears frequently on radio and television programs and speaks at conferences on topics about which he writes. Doug has 2 married children, 2 grandchildren, and a wonderful wife, Donna, with whom he will celebrate 42 years of marriage this summer.

I personally consider Doug and Gary’s most recent book The Revealing as the quintessential work of Doug’s which he has written or co-authored to-date! Doug gives substantial credit of the theme of this book to his colleague, Gary Huffman. The emphasis on personal as well as corporate sanctification and maturation of believers as members of the Body and Bride of Christ as the necessary prerequisite for glorification is phenomenal! The fact is that for every believer God’s supreme goal is to conform us to the image of Christ (Rom. 8:29) as the Holy Spirit continues the work of travailing “until Christ is fully formed in us” (Gal. 4:19); as we corporately continue to “grow up into Christ our head” (Eph. 4:15) until the Body of Christ attains the purpose for this dispensation stated in Eph. 4:13 “until we all reach oneness in the faith and in the (full) knowledge of the Son of God, [growing spiritually] to become a mature believer (literally until we all attain the corporate goal of one united perfect Man i.e. Eph. 2:15), reaching to the measure of the fullness of Christ [manifesting His spiritual completeness and exercising our spiritual gifts in unity] (Amp). Before the creation of the universe, including angels, God predestined the Body of Christ to gain possession of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ as our inheritance (Eph. 1:4 w/ 2 Thess. 2:14 w/ Col. 1:27). The Holy Spirit through Paul references this supreme goal in the context of the second advent in 2 Thess. 1:10: when He comes to be glorified in His saints on that day [that is, glorified through the changed lives of those who have accepted Him as Savior and have been set apart for His purpose], and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed and trusted [and confirmed in your lives].
Let us continue to follow Paul’s example and exhortation of Phil 3:7-17 until we, as one glorified Body of Christ, are caught up to meet our Lord face to face in the air and so “we shall ever be with the Lord.” Unto that glorious end I commend this book!

Acts 3:19-23 (KJV)
It has been two thousand years since Peter uttered these words in Acts 3:19-23. When you understand the significance of what he was sharing, this apostle of old took us from his day all the way to the Valley of Armageddon.
There are precious few in the Church that recognize the prophetic significance of the Feasts of the LORD. These powerful appointed times (moedim) were divine rehearsals and would find their fulfillment in Messiah. The first time that Jesus came He fulfilled the Spring Feasts: He was the Passover lamb, the unleavened bread come down from Heaven, and the first fruits offering. We are currently in Shavuot (Pentecost), were Messiah is empowering us to be His witnesses in all the Earth. And finally, we are racing toward the Fall Feasts, which we find played out in the Book of Revelation. I believe the apostle Peter was alluding to the Day of Atonement. We find in Leviticus:
27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God. 29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
Leviticus 23:27-29 (KJV)
There is a prophetic correlation between the Day of Atonement and the Valley of Armageddon.
Day of Atonement
Those that have not humbled themselves and been brought under the blood of the lamb sacrificed for atonement will be cut-off.
Valley of Armageddon
Those that have not humbled themselves yielded to the Gospel of the Kingdom, and been brought under the blood of the Lamb of God for salvation will perish at the brightness of His return.
As we have progressed toward the restitution of all things, each generation since the Early Church has been given the holy tasks of maintaining the faith that was first delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3) and growing on the shoulders of past generations, until we finally reach the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Eph. 4:13). To be honest, the history of the Church has revealed many dark times in which Jesus could hardly be seen at all. Yet, in the midst of that darkness, the Almighty would release a spark of truth that would ignite the Remnant in that generation; the results were repentance, revival, and reformation.
In our day, the ancient directive that was established in the plains of Shinar is now in full swing. The globalist agents of the Mystery Religions have labored for well over a century to pervert our faith, entrap God’s people within a Laodicean materialistic prison, silence the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom, and prepare the hearts of mankind for the arrival of the Son of Perdition. However, as the world races toward darkness, God’s flame of truth is reigniting within the hearts of the Remnant once again.
As the Remnant awakens, we have several tasks before us:
• Assess the plans and progress of the enemy.
• Regain the faith that was once delivered to the saints.
• Return to the process of growing in our walk in the Kingdom.
• Seek to reach the stature of the fullness of Christ.
There is a “showing” coming before the “showdown” in the Valley of Armageddon. As the agents of the kingdom of darkness labor tirelessly to fulfill the promise of the serpent in the Garden, Heaven is preparing to release a fresh anointing to manifest the fullness of Christ through His Body on the Earth. The greatest hour of the Church is nearly upon us. The world is about to truly see Jesus glorified through His people. As the mark of the beast is being prepared, citizens of the world must be given a clear choice: the Kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness.
Within the pages of this book, Gary Huffman and S. Douglas Woodward provide a clarion call to the Remnant. Now that we have assessed what the enemy has done, it is time to return to the biblical mandates of a pure faith, a holy heart, and a clear vision of the Messiah in the lives of His people. Gary and Doug have powerfully presented these truths as salvation, sanctification, and glorification!
So, Remnant of the Most High God, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get about the business of the Kingdom.
May the Lamb of God that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!
