Sons of Sylvia - Revelation....I just LOVE it!

For all of us long-time fans, it's been worth every minute of anticipation waiting for the EP, CD, and tour. If you love music, you won't be disappointed if you download the EP and check out all their new music performed live in concert all over the country on youtube-and then buy the full CD. In my opinion, every performance is better than the last from the acoustic songs to the bluegrass sound in their heavenly strings (all their instruments sound amazing), to their pure rock and roll that makes you want to drive with the windows down singing at the top your lungs, with a touch of country and touch of gospel. They've really got it all - and it all begins with incredible talent.

Sons of Sylvia is by far the best new band I've heard in very long time. Formerly known as The Clark Brothers, they won Next Greatest American Band for being so incredibly talented and versatile and able to touch your soul with their music-whether original or covers, they can play it all. If you aren't familiar with them, the full CD will be released on 4/27/10 and in the meantime - they are opening for Carrie Underwood and there are a wide variety of videos on Youtube of their amazing live concert performances. You can also see videos from NGAB to see how talented they are at performing every type of music under the sun and making it their own.

Who sounds as good live as they do with all the polishes of a cd these days? Very few - Only those with crazy God-given talent! Absolutely Sons of Sylvia! Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

I can't not mention their duet with Carrie Underwood "what Can I Say" which is so good it leaves you speechless.

I pre-purchased this CD last March and have played it everyday since. Every song on this CD is amazing. There is such a variety that there is something for everyone.

Sons of Sylvia recently announced the second single from this CD is "I'll Know You", a beautiful love song of longing for that moment when you meet that special someone and you know they are THE one! "I'm gonna find you, baby, I'll wait and I don't care how long it takes." This song features the vocals of Ashley Clark with all the emotion only he can put into a song - emotion that brought Next Great American Band judge, Sheila E, to tears. This song is a great follow up to the first single, "Love Left To Lose", co-written with cousin, Ryan Tedder of One Republic.

Besides Ashley's vocals, fans will love hearing the infusion of dobro, melobar, fiddle and mandolin with more traditional rock instruments creating a mix of rock, pop, country, and bluegrass.

This is a CD that has transitioned The Clark Brothers to Sons of Sylvia with a sound unique only to them.

LOVE Sons of Sylvia's new cd, Revelation. This is the best cd I've bought in a long time. There is not a bad song on it. It might be described as rock/pop/country...sort of a driving rock and soft rock vibe played with country instruments. I'm not typically a country music fan, but this whole new take on it just blew me away. These guys are unbelievable musicians. The things they do on the guitar, fiddle, dobro are incredible. And the lead singer is off-the-charts amazing. He sings with such emotion and conviction. The lyrics to the songs are great. It's pretty rare, lately, to find songs with lyrics that are really good and thought provoking. Many of these songs had a real message and I liked that. The music these guys are creating sounds like it comes from their soul and that they've put heart and soul and a lot of hard work into it.
The end result is fantastic! Can't wait to find them on tour!

I saw Sons of Sylvia open for Carrie Underwood and they were really really impressive! :) I love their sound, their songs, and their style. They are the best musicians I have seen in a long time in a new band, and they can really sing too.

Download this EP or buy their new album in April. They are definitely going places....Also, check them out in their duet with Carrie Underwood, called What Can I Say. It is on itunes.

Love them!

I saw these guys in concert with Carrie Underwood this past March and they blew me away! Their style is a little bit of everything- Country, Bluegrass, etc. I've even chatted with these guys a few times and they are very down to Earth and normal- just a group of guys from a big family living their dream. The songs they performed at the concert were amazing and these EP songs are just a sneakpeak at how amazing they are!
