Now this little figure is a suprise. How so? One word my friends. Articulation.

Count Dooku is the guy who started the seperatist movement that eventually lead to the rise of the evil empire. In other words, this is the real baddie of the prequal saga (well, along with Sidious).

Hasbro gave the Dooku figure the star treatment. As demonstrated in the awesome fight at the end of Attack of the Clones, Eightly year old Count Dooku is a lot more agile then you'd expect. For one thing, he has Thirteen points of articulion. Sounds like a small number, but it's very impressive. He moves at the neck, shoulder, elbow, mid-arm, legs, knees, and his feet (which can twist side to side). In other words, Dooku can get into a LOT of positions, making him a very agile figure.

In addition to the great amount of articulation, Dooku comes with his golden colored cape (made out of real, soft fabric), a handy display stand where he can, well, stand, and his distinct curved lightsaber.

However, i'm not quite sure about Dooku's lightsaber color. Instead of a blood red color, we have a pink lightsaber! That's right, the charming count Dooku carries a pink lightsaber! It's not a huge flaw, but it is noticable and questionable.

But with great articulation, good body details, and a handy stand, this Dooku figure is well worth the money needed to aquire him (and he's tough to find. I had to dig through five shelves at Target to get mine). So if you see him, grab him!

This is my first Count Dooku added to my collection, and he's not half bad! Just under 4", what he has going for him are a perfectly sculpted face so that he looks just like Christopher Lee and this great sculpt allows for veins on his hands, textured belt and clothing. He is jointed at the knees, the hips, the shoulders and wrists which give him a wide range of motion, and his head turns from side to side. I really like the added touch of his shimmery bronze cape with silver glittered string to hold it in place--The Black Series 6" Darth Vader is great for that reason also--Vader's silky black cape has a real chain holding it up, the point being that these little extras add up and make it more than just a plastic figure, and instead you'll want to collect as many unique figures as you can. Loyal to the movie, Count Dooku's lightsaber has a rounded holster which fits well into his hand without sliding out. I also like the stand he comes with which looks like metal panels you would see in a spaceship and not just a plain gray piece of plastic with a peg sticking out. I think he is a great figure to add to one's collection, especially if you get him for under $16 bucks here on Amazon!

We bought this action figure for my 6 year old. The product was advertised as brand new. However when we received the figure (which cost about $14.00), the package had been opened and taped closed. The action figure itself looked unused but the packaging was obviously compromised.

This is the best Count Dooku figure I have ever gotten my hands on---and it isn't even close. His articulation is top notch, except for his legs which are standard star wars figure legs... but hey, the guy is 80 years old, it isn't like he is going to be doing a ton of acrobatics, anyway. As for the sculpt, it is exceptional. He definitely looks like Christopher Lee. The only negative aspect of this figure really has nothing to do with the figure itself. It's the lightsaber. Instead of it being red like a sith saber should, the coloring is pink. If you can live with that, though, I would definitely recommend purchasing this figure!

I love this figure! His hands and head come off just like in the movie so you can set up little dioramas of him and pAnakin's duel. This figure has great articulation, my only complaint is that I wish he would have had ankle articulation. They don't bend so the only way to stand him p is to have his legs straight. Also I wish the lightsaber would have been red. He's also cool because you can use him for episodes 3 and 2

In episode II he fights and runs away and gets to live another day. In Episode III he bites the dust in the start of the movie. The ROTS SW3 line of action figures by Hasbro is the one series where even the largest skeptics could say "Oh, wow, this is cool!" How could you not love this line of action figures? Okay, there were a handful of duds, Tarful, Wookie Warrior, Nemodian Warrior that seemed to line the shelves of the department stores and never moved. The rest of the line was awsome. #41 Clone Trooper, #23 Red and Blue Royal Guards. #50 Chrispy Anakin. And don't forget #46 Ask Aak. # 13 Ct. Dooku is simply a hard character to find. It moved off the shelves quickly when it was introduced, and quite frankly, you're lucky to find one on here if it isn't sold out.
