I couldn't believe this unit was $130. The same unit from bulk reef supply would have cost over $350. I am totally satisfied with this purchase.
This unit was not difficult to install. There were already stickers on the unit indicating when the feed line goes in,goes out, waste water ..etc.. I don't know why people had such a hard time setting it up.
Luckily I also woke up at night and saw the flood so I could shut it off relatively quickly. I cannot imagine the damage it could have caused if flooding unnoticed all night until the morning. Still, we needed to spend ~$300 to rent professional grade air mover and a dehumidifier to ensure no water damage to the house.
Initially assuming it was not an issue with the water filter equipment but fluctuation in the water pressure coming from the pipes, I tried re-installing the water filter but the exact same tube popped right out even after tightening it as much as it can.
Unfortunately, as convenient RO filter was while it lasted, I cannot trust this equipment anymore. Probably switching back to a traditional water delivery service...
There were some other comments about fittings coming loose or leaking. The fitting design matches one made by in the USA Jaco, which my company has used with nearly zero failure for years in some machinery we make. But for sure, regardless of the manufacturer, ALL fitting nuts must be checked for tightness and their tubes tugged on prior to use! This is the case even, or especially, with the fittings that come "preassembled" on this unit: some were not fully tightened. Not a big deal, iff you check for it.
The worst news here is that the two tubing schematics are confusing and they do not match each other. At least for me, the only way I could get past that was to understand what each tube does and connect it accordingly (to tap water in, RO water to tank, tank water to spigot, waste water to drain). Learning that took about 20 minutes of scratching my head. Part of this complexity is because the unit makes provision for back-flushing the RO membrane -- a rare capability at this price range -- but something which can clean out the membrane and greatly extend its life, which is a good thing if you remember to do it.
For me, the taste is 1) way better than tap water 2) hard to distinguish from most any other RO water 3) not as good (or great) as purified water with "minerals added for taste", and 4) noticeably better than water bought in disposable plastic bottles that has the taste of plasticizer leeched into it.

Nice product at great price. I purchased this after I tried 2 units from Costco that leaked. If it had better installation instructions, I would give it 5 stars. I used a instruction video for a similar unit on Youtube to guide me per recommendation from one of the reviews here. Well worth the trouble.
