He starts with an explanation of the Iron Rule of Inequality showing that all people are not created equal and that as a result there are large sectors of the population that feel cheated in life. As these folks see it others simply have it better. These persons, not accomplishing as much in life and feeling cheated, are the undermen. In simple terms Stoddard goes on to explain these folks are ginned up by unhappy and perhaps unbalanced leaders to attack the social establishment that support western civilization.
You guessed it. The Christian church, schools, the family, representative government must all be attacked and eliminated and those persons supporting these institutions must go too. Now what Stoddard does is remarkable in its simplicity: he quotes the leaders of this revolt and it scares the bejeebers out of you. Science for example must be changed. Physics should emphasize the dynamics of class warfare. Oh, how about smart people? It seems they must be eliminated too or at least made to work in menial jobs for certainly they might feel superior to their lesser endowed brothers. Crazy? I would like to see a synthesis of this book and Murray's "The Bell Curve" to discuss the effects of the increase in the low- IQ population to America, and whether it will be possible to maintain our free society.
