This fascinating book contains a wealth of facts that you are unlikely to read about in mainstream works of history. Did you, for example, know that the Bolshevik revolution in Russia was funded by wealthy Wall Street bankers? That British and German capitalists financed socialist movements and institutions such as the Fabian Society and the Frankfurt School? That the multi-billionaire and international speculator George Soros bankrolls organizations promoting the legalization of drugs?

How can facts such as these be reconciled? Why do super-rich plutocrats promote socialism and support movements that seek to undermine traditional values? Dr. Bolton's controversial, but well-documented, hypothesis is that Big Business and Marxism ultimately work towards the same goal: the establishment of a World State on the ruins of traditional societies and nation states.

Before I read this book, I was pretty convinced of the following things:

-The phrase "New World Order" is just some paranoid meme, used by people who believe in things like lizard people and alien probes
-There's not enough evidence to prove any "conspiracy theory"
-The 1960s counterculture won a "long march through the institutions," which was resisted by the establishment at every turn

How wrong this is! "Revolution From Above" showcases elite and governmental support for "countercultural" movements like feminism, recreational drug use, rock music, etc. According to the book, many of these movements would never have got off the ground without lavish funding from sources like the Rockefeller Foundation. It's a little scary to know how many "fight the power" movements were actually funded by the powers they were supposedly fighting.

This book's main thesis is that communism and capitalism are both tools of "global plutocrats," and that many well-meaning people are actually "serving as dupes for aims of which they know nothing." Even if you think this is nonsense, you'd do well to read this book. Dr. Bolton cites many little known events, alliances and incidents to make his case. These are worth knowing about, even if Bolton's thesis is bunk.

After reading this book, you'll have a critical eye for al the "revolution" news. For example, in 2014, we saw a "revolution" in Ukraine backed by the UE and USA. This is surprisingly unbiased and unemotional and sticks with the facts and where they lead . If you've read None Dare Call it Conspiracy , then this is a much wider look at these American trust corporations that have socially reengineered western civilisation.

This book, more than any other I have read, sums up well how the modern world has been manipulated; and it does so in a concise, clear manner. Best of all, it doesn't screw up the message by including some of the more odd side of conspiracy theories, such as reptoids and the like. Everything in this book, I believe, can be proven conclusively. I would recommend it to anyone.
