Amazing how that person named "honest abe" wrote bs about this machine and yet 6 out of 14 people found it "helpful" and Amazon does nothing to remove it. I have 4 herniated cervical discs, facet problems at 5-6 levels, 2 levels with nerve impingement resulting in ulnar nerve entrapment, cervical radiculopathy (no feeling in a couple of fingers on my left hand, constant hand aches at different fingers based on what disc is inflamed, as well as intermittent numbness in both hands, arms and shoulders), and carpal tunnel syndrome. I had left shoulder surgery as well and am on year 8 of my treatment. I take 30mg x 5 oxycodone, 2 x 40mg time released Oycontin, and all sorts of muscle relaxers. The pain is constant, I can't exercise because even moving from one place to another aggravates some thing and that thing in turn aggravates the others. Sitting is painful, standing is painful, laying in bed is painful so I have been sleeping on a recliner for 7 years. I tried everything, all sorts of therapies and am awaiting on a spinal cord stimulator. I happened to find this device at a very decent price and purchased it, just with a slight hope that it may do something to ameliorate any of my pain (different levels of pain at different times or at the same time and amazing how you can actually have 5-6 different types of pain at the same time, stemming from the same place). Of course due to inactivity, my hips, legs, feet, everything has been getting it's fair share from reduced range of motion to swelling, etc...

Anyway I got this machine and couldn't do anything more than literally 1 or 2 minutes. All I could do was legs for 2-3 months, just putting my feet on it while sitting and having to stop after a few minutes due to burning and aching.

So far the Exercise Heavy Duty Crazy Fit Massager has been a nice addition to our fitness program. My wife and I both have joint pain. We feel better after doing ten minutes on the machine. We could not afford an expensive machine. I like the way the plate moves and 20 speeds are enough for most people. I am not good at putting things together or following directions. It took my wife and I about an hour. The average person could do it in 20 to 30 minutes. I do recomend this for someone curious about vibration exercise machines.

I bought this vibration platform because I used one at a spa. They said 10 minutes on the vibration plate was the equivalent to walking for 45 minute. I have not been able to substantiate that claim. Some web sites say 10 minutes burns 45 calories other say it burns 240 calories. I had this information before I bought the vibration plate. I bought it anyway because I had also heard that people with back pain had relief when they used it. I hurt my neck as kid and my lower back as a teenager. My knees and feet hurt on and off too mainly from my lower back injury (torn disc). I don't have a knee or foot injury. Now that I am almost 50 I need something besides a pill to help relieve my pain and if I burn a few calories too, great! I have been using the vibration platform for 4 weeks and I love it! I have not lost any weight but I can tell that my muscles are toner especially my legs. I have not been targeting my arms. My system is working better too and I don't feel bloated. I stand on the vibration plate 10 minutes 4 to 5 days a week. I like the highest setting but the rest of the family uses the lower setting. The vibration plate has helped my neck, back, knee, and foot pain. It feels great when your standing on it and I feel better after using it. The other day my knee was aching. I used the vibration plate and it felt 80% better for several hours. Over all I would say that if your pain is being managed (not a brand new injury) you would benefit from this machine. To put it in terms of percentages I would say that using the vibration plate decreases my chronic pain by 50 to 80% for about 5 hours after using it and then it slowly comes back. Of course you should consult your doctor before try this machine. I am very satisfied and highly recommend it.

I really like this machine - it gives a great work out, and it feels great. It was easy to put together and rather portable, which is nice. Did I mention it's not loud? Hurray, because that was my biggest worry! So A++ for that.

The only reason it doesn't get 5 full stars is that for whatever reason, the screen is not in English and the manual is written poorly. Also, the buttons are not labeled quite like they are in the manual. One last negative: While the manual makes sense as you put together the machine (it's pretty common sense), it's HORRIBLE as you read through the instructions on how to get your BMI. Getting someone to write the manual that writes English as a second language = not the best idea, especially if they suck at it.

Overall, I would recommend this machine to anyone! The pros greatly outweigh the cons.
