In her book, Revolutionary Agreements, Marian Head offers clear and down-to-earth guides for living a more harmonious, less stressful life. She warmly and openly shares personal anecdotes that illuminate her deceptively simple, but actually profound ideas. She enables her readers to establish authentic, enriching relationships, both personally and professionally. As greater numbers of us succeed in these endeavors, she hopes for "a shift in consciousness" which will ultimately lead toward greater peace on earth.
I was greatly inspired by this book and highly recommend it to anyone who seeks personal growth and a more rewarding life. I read both editions and recommend the second even to those who have already read the first. In this second edition, Head includes feedback from readers of the first. She also offers more practical tips on how to incorporate these agreements into our lives.
So read and enjoy this extraordinary book. It will be a gift you give to yourself.
This book made me laugh, cry, and look at myself and others in my life in a new light. It's a book everyone can relate to, for don't we all struggle every day with the challenges that sometimes seem so frustrating that they oftentimes take the enjoyment out of life? Revolutionary Agreements is the kind of book that makes sense from the kitchen to the boardroom to international politics. Pulling from her extensive background in team building (including that of program coordinator for the Soviet-American Citizen's Summit at the end of the cold war), to handling the ticking time-bomb issues of raising a teenager, Head shows us how her 12 Revolutionary Agreements can work in every setting with every kind of person ... if only we will all take advantage of the simplicity, beauty, and joy that these simple beliefs can bring. This beautifully presented book will find itself useful in the home, office, and in the corporate and political world where it will make a distinct difference in those of us who are seeking change, empowerment, and fulfillment in our lives and our relationships.
Revolutionary Agreements is a deceptively simple and incredibly powerful guide to living a richer, deeper and more satisfying life. As someone who has lived and worked with these Agreements for over 20 years, I am thrilled that Marian is offering her stories as a model of success and happiness in such a personal and accessible way. Incorporating any one of these Agreements into your life leads to tremendous growth.
As I read this book I thought of so many people I would love to give it to.

About the Author
Marian Head has been initiating peaceful revolutions in business, government, and education since the early 1970s.
Her diverse experiences as an organizer, facilitator, entrepreneur, and leader began when she was the child-President of her 4-H Club and have traversed a variety of venues since, including: first Manager for Educational Development at the US Senate; top 100 sales leader for seven consecutive years at a global nutrition company; cochair of the first graduate school department of Leadership and Organizational Transformation; founder of Marlin Press and its Professional Trainers' Collection; program coordinator for historic Soviet-American Citizens' Summits in Washington, DC and Moscow; and co-facilitator of the first two Global Forums of Spiritual and Parliamentary Leaders in Oxford and Moscow.
In 1985, alongside her husband, Glenn, Marian cofounded the Geneva Group, a network of businesspeople formed around a set of principles that subsequently evolved into the Revolutionary Agreements. Marian has devoted herself to introducing these principles into the lives and work of hundreds of thousands of people globally. She initiated the Agreements Institute to train and provide certification for coaches and facilitators who have a passion for spreading the benefits of conscious agreements to people all over the world.
Marian's passion for the principles of authentic leadership and compassionate communication have led her to speak to audiences of thousands, consult with organizations ranging from small businesses to Fortune 100 corporations, serve on and chair national and international committees and boards for businesses and nonprofit organizations, and continually explore new ways to fulfill her passion to be of service to humanity.
Marian is the award-winning author of Revolutionary Agreements: Twelve Ways to Transform Stress and Struggle Into Freedom and Joy (2005) and Gratitude Journal for a Healthy Marriage (2015). She coauthored with Barbara Marx Hubbard The Suprasexual rEvolution: Toward the Birth of a Universal Humanity (2012).
