It's a sweet lost love story. Issac is a workaholic. He is forced to take a two week vacation by his friend and boss. When he returns home to see family for Hanukkah, he is in no way prepared to find Giada standing in his sister's kitchen. She is the one that got away. His teenage fantasy that has only gotten better looking with time.
Giada hasn't seen Issac in fifteen years. Her feelings she had all those years ago jump to the forefront when he walks through his sister's front door. Is this the change at love they've never had or just a passing moment?
It is a quick holiday read. I enjoyed my first read from this author.

Isaac Backman is a workaholic who hasn't had a vacation or been back in his hometown since his father's funeral two years ago. A forced vacation has Isaac heading home to Atlanta for Hanukkah.
Giada "Gigi" Leone moved back home to Atlanta to take care of her sick parents, but since their deaths she is all alone and has lost the Christmas spirit.
When Gigi reconnects with Isaac, her best friend's older brother and teenage crush, an attraction develops with a sizzling desire that will help them overcome their emotional baggage and put the holiday spirit back into their hearts, and maybe even something more!
I really enjoyed reading this quick little holiday novella, it had the right amount of sweet and steamy that I look for in erotic romance stories. I liked that the author cleverly interwove both Hanukkah and Christmas holidays into the story, especially since it provided the reader with a glimpse into both holiday traditions.
You can't hep but feel for Isaac and Gigi as they both dealt with their emotional baggage. Their reconnecting develops into an attraction that is palpable with a sizzling chemistry and level of desire that was simply smoking hot! I loved their witty banter and the sweet touching moments that they shared, and I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I love a man who rides a motorcycle ... hot, hot, hot!
Revving Up The Holidays is an enjoyable holiday erotic romance that will certainly rev up your holiday spirits!

I was in a mood for a quick holiday read and have always wanted to check out new-to-me author A.S. Fenichel so Revving Up the Holidays was perfect. What’s better than killing two birds with one stone, right?
I loved the holiday feel of this book; we get Hanukkah and Christmas all in one story. The characters were also warm and delightful to read. Isaac and Giada both had their own emotional baggage to carry, but I was happy to see them open up to one another instead of pushing each other away which can get tiresome in some romance novels. There were sweet moments that made me smile and moments where I needed to get a fan out due to those steamy love scenes. For example, that scene with Isaac and Giada doing the nasty on his motorcycle was jaw-dropping and most definitely hot. A.S. Fenichel can sure write some smokin’ hot love scenes ;) There were equal amounts of sweet and sexy in this story which I loved.
While I did enjoy this sweet holiday read overall, there were a few minor issues I had with Revving Up the Holidays. While it was evident that there was chemistry between Isaac and Giada, the chemistry didn’t really sizzle in my opinion. The chemistry was there, yes, but I just couldn’t really feel it. (Does that make sense?) Nonetheless, I was still invested in Isaac and Giada’s relationship and was happy for them. The other issue that I had was that the story seemed to move a little fast or in other words it seemed a bit rushed.
In the end, Revving Up the Holidays was a sweet and feel-good holiday story with a heavy dose of sexy that left me with a smile at the end. After getting a bite size sample of author A.S. Fenichel’s writing, it’s safe to say that I’ll be back for more.

Revving Up the Holidays was a sweet story about a love that was almost missed.
Though there was a lot of steam in this book, I thought there was a wholesomeness about Giada and Isaac’s story. I love that they’d been secretly carrying torches for each other for years. And bonus? ‘Best friend’s hot older brother’ is one of my favorite tropes!
I liked that this story included the aspect of Judaism, as I always find it interesting to read about something I don’t know a lot about. I thought there was a nice balance to it in the story; it wasn’t overwhelming, more of a back drop in Isaac’s life
Isaac and Giada were both likable characters who were deeply scarred from tragedies in their lives, but they were willing to move on from their pasts instead of wallow in them.
I really enjoyed that though parts of the book were heavy, the author was able to keep a lightness to the story. It was simply about two people finding love amidst the normal chaos of life. I like how well Giada and Isaac were able to mingle their traditions.
I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a quick, sweet holiday read about love and second chances!

It seemed a little tame for my liking but a good book none the less. It had a couple of good sex scenes in it but parts were predictable.Published on January 20, 2014 by Susan Hubbard
It's was great to read a holiday book that did not revolve around just Christmas. Well written. Another great read that got me though a long holiday weekend with the family. Read morePublished on December 26, 2013 by Amazon Customer
