This song, or album, is likely one of the last of those with Terry Kath performing as their lead singer. His guitar techniques, and guttural, soul sounding, voice made this band unique. Along with Mr. Kath, Peter Cetera's fabulous voice, and the bands fluid tones helped create a new genre of music during the 70's. Free is a great mixture of vocal, instrumentals, and tempos. I have listened to a lot of music over the years, but Free is still one of my favorites

This is THE ULTIMATE JAM by Chicago...Trust me. Terry Kath was 1 of the greatest guitarists, Danny Seraphine's drumming is so underrated. He was great too. You cannot go wrong w Terry Kath era Chicago (69-76)
