About us
At U.S. Toy we've been inspiring FUN since 1953. From day one, our mission has been to provide affordable and safe products that help you learn, create, play and celebrate with the ones you love. For the last three generations we've aspired to turn our passion for family into a store where you can explore your creativity, imagination and create lasting memories. To make shopping with us even easier, we have merged together our U.S. Toy and CP Toy sites for you and your family. We have the same great selection you love with a brand new look. So whether you are looking for a birthday theme for your youngest, a toy for your teen, or a game for the whole family, we have what you need.
In a small apartment in 1953, Elvin and Frances Klein founded what is today U.S. Toy. As the parents of two young children they noticed a need for small novelty toys at their local drugstore.

We keep a bunch of games by the kitchen table so that we can play games and have family time when we eat at the table. It’s nice to play this game when we have company, it’s an easy enough game that you can play and still carry on a conversation.
It’s also good for kids to play while adults are talking, or if you have the rule that everyone stays at the table until everyone is done eating it gives the ones that are finished first something you do while they wait.
Excellent value for the price and totally playable. No issues at all with pegs and holes.
Your kids will never know the difference that you got them the cheap version. It doesn't matter.
Still, there it is a noticeable downgrade from the "name brand" version. It is smaller, thiner, not solid wood, and has slightly rough edges.
My 7-year old would never know the difference.
I bought the cheaper version to compare, and because my kids were fighting over the name-brand version that we already have. I wanted to see if there was a difference. There is. If money doesn't matter, get the name brand. It's definitely nicer. If you're a value shopper, this version is totally adequate and just as fun.
