To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Decent book, but fails to delve into the day to day minutia of running a corporation that I was looking for. Although many seemed to appreciate the "story" format, I felt that the side characters delved into (angry husbands, dogs, aunts, etc) were a corny distraction that tended to diminished the value of the information. Something more professional and concise would have been better.

I bought both start your own and run your own corporation. Both good books. My only complaint is the lack of even one condensed list of specific corporate formalities. Such as #1, file articles with state, #2, write bylaws, etc.

Great step-by-step guide on making sure all of the necessary legal steps are taken for a new corporation out into the future. I love the simple lists by corporation age that act as a simple guide. Overall, you can get through it quickly using it as a resource for only the topics that you need, but I found the content really engaging and interesting to read end-to-end just to learn additional info about steps that I hadn’t considered. I feel totally in control incorporating now, which is pretty awesome for about $15. Why this wasn’t taught in my MBA courses, I have no idea, but it’s great that Rich Dad Advisors are building out their content.

Great book that explains what you need to do to help avoid having a judge pierce the corporate veil. This book has lots of practical legal information for non-lawyers who want to protect their assets.

Some great advice on setting a Corp up in an easy to digest form for the average person. But ... the side stories while interesting seemed a bit "dark" at times (especially having my dog shot, and then being banged up on some bogus charges!) Anyway, good solid advice here for anyone starting a business.

This is one of the best business books I have ever read! The material on how to properly operate your business and protect yourself is carried forward through the stories of three entrepreneur teams. So instead of dry, legalistic material the lessons are personalized and learned via the characters. I especially liked the story of the two hapless friends who have their problems but win in the end. A great number of key business issues are covered in the stories, making it both an informative and very interesting read. Run Your Own Corporation is a must for every business owner!

This is the companion book to "Start Your Own Corporation" and is also superb. Thanks to this book, I've been able to figure out what I need to do to get my new business, Empress Cindy Books LLC, going. Sutton is particularly strong on meeting government requirements to protect us from getting into potentially serious problems.

Excellent book. Has many good examples for normal life issues that ordinary people need to be aware of as far as law.
Highly recommended.
The first 40-50 pages are good review of the different types of Busniesses entities.
