The playpen works great outdoors to keep your pet in its own area during family gatherings. It converts into a pet gate and room divider to confine your pet safely indoors in areas with larger openings. Because the playpen includes a lockable gate door, your pet has easy access in/out of the playpen. This pen is easy to assemble and disassemble. Looks nice and is durable. We are very pleased with the pen other than the gate can be easily opened by a "wanting to get out" dog. We had to put another lock on the outside of the door.

This product is VERY well made compared to other pet playpens. And it's attractive enough as a (heavy gauge) plastic option to not absolutely mar the interior beauty of your home. In fact, I bought this for my parent's winter ranch down in Florida and I was amazed that it was the exact same color of their house and lanai (covered, screened porch)! It blended right in. The downsides are several: 1) with narrow slats it's more like a pet prison, so some pets might not feel like they are "with you"; 2) the provided orientation locks have A LOT of play in them, way more than I would expect given the design. What this means is that when your pet inevitably lays down or jumps up against a side wall, it will bow out more than you will like. Especially in rectangular configs. Nonetheless, I'm happy with this product... but it's not enough to stop me from looking for other options. One more note, the heavy gauge plastic has a very nice finish.

My husband and I spent months researching play yards and play pens after our Pomeranian puppy kept busting out of her foldable soft sided play pen (she bit through the zippered doors). I was worried this one might be too tall and ugly looking for set up in our living room, but much to my delight it set up beautifully and looks great too against our cottage style decor. We had to set it up in the rectangle shape because of space limitations, and we made it very cozy with new washable pee pads, their toys and bed. We have 3 small dogs, and they can all fit with room to play and sleep. I just wish we could attach a water bottle to it like for a metal crate. Great product! Thank you!

Wire Haired Fox Terrier puppy cannot climb or jump out of the 36” vertical walls. Had previously purchased and returned a 26” PetCo pen, but the 4 month old pup was able to escape due to the short diamond shape climbing walls. The only flaw in this design is the door lock, which he was able to figure out how to open. We had to add two gate latches to prevent him from escaping and running a muck in the house. This is being used for potty training purposes as he cannot be trusted, yet.

I did a lot of research before buying this 6 panel playpen. It's pricey but worth the money. None of the other brands I checked out came close to having the features this one has. Others stated the latch is flimsy but we've had this for 5 months and so far our 9 1/2 lb Yorkiepoo hasn't been able to jiggle it open. It's high enough she can't jump out and the vertical slats in the panels make it impossible for her to climb out. Very easy to assemble and wipe clean. The construction is solid and sturdy. I also purchased the Richell Paw Trax Training Tray (puppy pad holder) and it fits great along with a bed and some toys and still has some room to play. Love that's it so versatile. Very Happy with this pen and have no complaints.

I use this on our laminate floor, I use it for an X-pen for 5 lb puppy Papillon at night. He has not escaped, and how smooth it is it seems hard to chew thankfully. It is very tall which is great for larger dogs or jumpers, downside is you cannot just reach in to move or remove anything. The door is easy to use and fine for my needs. We recently packed in my car for XMas and brought it along. The panels are light enough, the xpen is big enough to hold a Pee pad, dog bed, XS crate, food and water for my puppy. Fitting in my trunk was no problems but the pieces are not designed to be easily carried together, it would be helpful if they tied together in some way to easily carry around.

Scooting it on the floor to move each day, it has been scratching the floor so I suggest if going to move it, add pads to bottom or be very careful. If you use this with a dog that can push it around (my large dog can) then it will scratch your floor.

All that being said, I am happy with it. I like that I can turn it into a barrier or an X-pen.

I bought this indoor pen since it doesn’t have the horizontal slots JIC my pup would be a jumper. When the product arrived I was surprised it said Made in China all over it as I thought it was made in the USA. Oh well.
It was super easy to assemble, fit perfectly in the corner of my LR, I setup a crate inside as her sleep area while I’m away at work. The only thing I didn’t think about is with the plastic so thick I don’t think the pup feels like she can see me when I condone her to do stuff around the house, so if I had to do it all over again I would prob do a regular expen with a crate attached or inside or get one that doesn’t have such limited view so pup can feel more like they are still with you when they are confined and your home.
