This series has often been dismissed as Adolescant crap. So was the Simpsons. This is not just for Mulan sauce eating stoners, it is wrought with philosophically; nihilism, and what existentialist philosophers contemplated and wrote their memoirs on. It is the epitome of the saying “life is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who care; Rick and Morty are the archetypal embodiment of this, raising the question: are these two different concepts or one in the same animal?

Had an issue with a disk. 3rd season Whirly Dirly Conspiracy episode cuts off 2/3rds the way through. Seller immediately sent a replacement. New disks have the same issue. Also the subtitles are automatically on, I hate that.

Fantastic show, garbage box set

The show is one of the best animated shows I've seen. Far deeper than many people understand and with outstanding attention to continuity and detail. This box set, however, is junk. None of the effort that went into the show made it into this set. It contains five things: a digital code, a poster with Rick and Morty's heads on it, done in a strange style that I can't really describe and which has never appeared in the show & three discs, labeled Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3. That's it. No episode list or any other identifying information. So unless you're a superfan and know exactly which episodes are in which seasons you'll have to look them up to get the one you want, or just hit play all and let the Nihilism wash over you.

The shows is great and the blu ray packaging and presentation are basic but fine. There are a lot of reviews on here saying the digital code did not work. I noticed on the code slip that the code said it expired 03/31/2020 but I decided to try the instructions anyway and tried to redeem the code. The code did work for me as soon as I tried with no problem. Purchased 12/31/2020 and redeemed code 01/02/2021.

I would advise anyone who sees the expiration date on the code slip to try redeeming it anyway.

We were able to get both the BD and digital copy so we can take Rick and Morty with us wherever we go and we haven't had any problems with either one. Wubba lubba dub dub!!

I find Rick and Morty hilarious and enjoyed the stories. HOWEVER... the DVD quality is rubbish (lots of pixelation on faster moving scenes) - maybe they tried to pack too much onto not enough DVDs. A couple of the extras on the final disc wouldn't play (I tried several DVD players). The seller (SORETHUMBZ) wouldn't exchange it as I only discovered the non-playing aspect after 30 days after purchase - instead, they (somewhat reluctantly) gave me a £5 refund. So, NOT recommended in this format.

Surely I can't be the only person on the planet to find Rick's drunken lisp irritating? In fact the whole show is a bit irritating, but I suspect that's half the point.
If you mixed together The Simpsons, Family Guy and Futurama, sprinkling them with a little LSD, then you would come up with this. Good, but not great - just more of the same that raises the bar a little bit.

Acabo de recibirlo. Empezamos:

Según la contraportada, los episodios no están en 1080p, sino 1080i. Además están convertidos a 25fps, a saber cómo.

A 1080 y siendo dibujos animados se ven muy bien igualmente, pero no sé por qué no nos pueden dar el video original y adaptar el audio a él, en lugar de hacerlo al revés.

El audio en inglés mantiene el 5.1 original, mientras que en castellano tenemos un 2.0, que supongo que es como se emitió en TV.

Dejando esto aparte, tiene un par de cosas MUY molestas (para mi, al menos):

- La intro de Cameo. Dura unos segundos que parecen horas y NO se puede saltar. Sale cuando carga el disco, y también si le das a reproducir todos los episodios seguidos (solo antes del primero). Un truco: si vamos al menú “episodios” y elegimos uno, no aparece la intro.

- La versión original hay que verla OBLIGATORIAMENTE con subtitulos en castellano. No se pueden desactivar.

En cuanto a los extras, parece que incluye TODOS los de los discos USA (añado capturas de los menús de extras de España y de USA en las 3 temporadas), y además en 1080p, como los originales, PERO (tenía que haber un “pero”) no lleva subtítulos de ningún tipo.

En fin, una edición que está bien, pero que podía haber estado mucho mejor. Y más con lo que ha tardado en salir.

Aún así hay que agradecer a Cameo que la haya editado en bluray, que como clientes por supuesto podemos criticar los defectos del producto, pero al menos lo han editado en bluray, que podían haber hecho como otras editoras y sacar solo el DVD.
