Ride With Me is the first book that I've read by this author, and I definitely enjoyed it. It was only Ashley Hastings' second book, so with the talent displayed, I cannot wait to see what she puts out. in the future. Lucy is a woman who loves her lists, except her manlist isn't quite getting the job done, after a date had gone terribly wrong, even though he ticked off a lot of her boxes. However, it did lead to her meeting Grayson, a hot cop, who she had crazy chemistry with. But there's one problem, she refuses to date any cop. Grayson is determined to make her his, and he has more time to plead his case when she's assigned to go on ride alongs with him, so will he be able to change her mind? Lord have mercy, Lucy was walking chaos, who had me rolling throughout this whole book. And Grayson oozed hotness, so together their crazy hotness lit the sheets up during sexy times, so all panties are in jeopardy of combustion. Their crazy dialogue also kept me laughing hard, so now my sides hurt from all the laughter. The entertaining cast of secondaries, like her grandma, only added more to the story. And to make it even better, there were a few twists that got the f-bombs dropping, as this fast paced read kept me in one place, cover to cover. Again, I'm super excited to read what this talented author puts out next, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ride With Me by Ashley Hastings is the story of Grayson and Lucy.
Lucy has a list of things she wants her future husband to have in personality after having failed with a previous relationship. While on a blind date she is finding that the man she is having diner with checks off all things on her list. Lucy feels things might be moving up for her in the relationship department until when they go to leave they end up in a high speed chase. It seems that her date wasn't a good person and Grayson pulled them over to arrest the guy. Grayson makes it known that he would like to be consider for her list so that they can go out. But Lucy's father was a Police Officer that was killed in the line of duty so she doesn't want to have a relationship with him. But Grayson and her growing attraction for him is making it hard to say no. Once she is assigned to ride with Grayson on some of his police patrols things just get hotter for them.
I just found Ms. Hasting books but what I have read so far I am in love with. This one didn't let me down and I hope to read more of her books soon.

I actually liked this a lot more than I thought I would. It started off on a good, funny note. Lucy was easy to like with her humor and her Manlist. The list was a little ridiculous but I enjoyed Grayson showing her how much she really didn't need it, especially when he laughably reminded her about how some guys could seem so good on paper but not in real life. I'd say that's a good lesson for a reader if nothing else, hmm?

The writing was easy to get lost in, and it was a good flow of humor and very, very hot sexy time. I looked forward to those things almost more than the main characters, to be honest. They made things spicy, but I'm also glad that Hastings was able to add in some heartfelt stuff so it wasn't just chemistry that the romance was riding on. I liked the low key drama, the issues with dating a cop, and overall just how sweet I got on Grayson. Lucy was a little hard to deal with toward the end but everything turned out right.

Lucy makes lists, which is why she is on a blind date checking off her manlist to see if she has found a match. Thinking she has struck gold she finds herself in the arms of Police Officer Grayson after her blind date turns out to be a crook. Grayson gets his first glimpse of Lucy and he likes it. He is not a man who dates but with Lucy on his mind he is pursuing her, even though it frustrates him. Can Grayson convince Lucy he is worth taking a chance on?

This was laugh out loud funny. Sometimes when you read a book there are a couple of times during the book you are smiling or chuckling, this is throughout. I loved Lucy, she is a bit high strung on her liking things in their little compartments but she is the type of person I would hang around with in a heartbeat. Grayson... he radiates masculine alpha male and just makes you swoon. Excellent read, checking more out from author. Would read this book again and again.

I absolutely loved this book!! There were so many laugh out loud moments that I could not help but fall in love with these two opposite but meant for each other characters. Lucy lived her life by her lists. There were lists for every aspect including falling in love. Unfortunately men were rarely able to pass her tests and show her what true love really is. That all changes when she does a ride along with Officer Grayson and finds that maybe she should forget the lists and follow her heart. Grayson knew from first glance that Lucy was the woman for him. He just needed to convince her. This is the first time I have read anything from this author but definitely not my last. The writing was fast moving and entertaining throughout. The characters were well developed and at times felt like you were reading the story of old friends. This book will leave you with a smile on your face and love in your heart.

When the happily ever after makes you say awwwwwwwwwww!!!
Lucy's first encounter with the gorgeous grey eye officer is when a bad date goes wrong.... Literally. She gets all tongue tied and pretty much puts her foot in her mouth that Grayson takes notice.
Fast forward to Lucy having to go for a ride along with the police department for her college thesis... Hello officer hotness!
I love the dynamic of these characters. Lucy has this innocence about her yet she is quirky and free at the same time. Grayson comes off with his bad boy player smirks and looks but he is really a softy at heart.
The characters each hold the reader's attention and capture your heart along the journey while on the ride...
