Interesting more from a historical point of view than an actual musical one. The collaboration between Geoff Downes and Greg Lake was the product of their brief time together in Asia (when Lake replaced John Wetton for the Asia In Asia concerts in Tokyo, 1983). Their songwriting/recording demos didn't actually start until 1989 and this album is the collection of those demos.
If you are a fan of Greg Lake and Geoff Downes and want to hear where later ELP (Affairs Of The Heart, Street War) and Asia (Love Under fire) began, then this album would be appealing. The songs themselves are okay...nothing amazing has been hiding for all these years.
And buyers do need to be advised that the recordings are of very so-so quality. These are demos and the recordings sound like they came from a second or third source. The audio signal varies at times within the songs. Definitely not an audiophile release by a long shot. Again, more of a historical snapshot.
