“I adore Laura Kaye. She writes HOT and emotional, and always delivers! Ride Wild is my kind of book - hello, sexy single dad!” (#1 New York Times Bestselling Author Lauren Blakely)
“The Raven Riders are back as the amazing Kaye continues to explore this motorcycle club...a truly heartwarming tale of dealing with loss and daring to reach for the future... Cora Campbell and Slider Evans both have serious pain and darkness in their pasts, but watching them reach for the light is wonderful and moving. A terrific read!” (RT Book Reviews (top pick))
“wrenching story... will rip readers’ hearts out. Kaye’s sassy dialogue and inner narration are hilarious... and her taut plotting easily carries readers through the story... Fans who are just discovering the series will undoubtedly search out the other books set in this rough-and-tumble world.” (Publishers Weekly (starred review))
“No one does red-hot, high-testosterone, danger-spiked contemporary romances quite like best-selling Kaye, and the third in her Raven Riders series, following Ride Rough (2017), is another addictively readable love story that mixes real emotions with raw sensuality” (Booklist)

Slider has basically just been existing for the past two years since the death of his wife to cancer. He hasn’t really even been involved with the club. Things haven’t been easy trying to raise his two sons, Sam and Ben alone. I think I fell in love with him immediately! Cora has been helping him with the boys and so he decides to ask her to be their live in Nanny. Cora is sweet and young yet so damaged from the awful things that happened in her past but she is trying to find happiness now among the club and her bestie Haven. She is so loving and caring.
She has definitely been attracted to Slider and he to her; but neither of them saw this coming. I lost it when he asked her to be his person!
Sweet, sexy, funny and even some intense moments thrown in; this book seriously delivers in the swoony romance department!!!
Cora Campbell has also been someone you just knew there was more to what we knew from her introduction in Dare and Haven's book as the best friend who got Haven away from a bad home life. She had been hiding a horrifying secret from her best friend and everyone else that was still causing her nightmares.
Slider and Cora were two emotionally broken people that, one conscientiously and one unconscientiously, were looking to belong to a family. Slider technically already had a family being the single dad of two boys but the loss of his wife, in more ways than just her passing from cancer, left a huge hole in his heart. Both had leaks in their dam's and they each ended up being the plug that healed one and gave the other what she had been looking for her whole life.
Along with the emotional love story there is also a side plot of a dog fighting ring that actually ends up wrapping up some loose threads from the early books which made me very happy.
I hope there are at least 3 more books in the series – Phoenix, Jagger and Caine have played such big roles in the series that you want to see them get their HEA..
Cora is also there to help Slider, not just by taking care of his kids but also bringing much needed happiness and fun to his home. I loved Cora and her compassion for others and her selfless giving to everyone around her. Cora and Haven's friendship has been a highlight since the first book and this was no exception. Cora would do anything for Haven and her support just demonstrates how important female friendships in romances are. As Cora finds a place with Slider she begins to see a future that she never imagined. A hard upbringing left Cora feeling alone and when her father does the unthinkable, Cora's confidence is shattered. Cora helps to save Slider but in may ways, Slider saves Cora as well. These two were amazing together and the chemistry jumps off the page whenever they're together. Slider and Cora are hot, hot, hot!! But underneath all the sparks and fire is a deep well of caring and love. The reader can see from the beginning of their relationship that what these two have is real and powerful.
Content Note: references and flashbacks to past rape, cancer and death of secondary character, references and scenes of dog-fighting and animal abuse
