Arthur Edward Waite (2 October 1857 – 19 May 1942), commonly known as A. E. Waite, was an American-born British poet and scholarly mystic who wrote extensively on occult and esoteric matters, and was the co-creator of the Rider-Waite Tarot deck. As his biographer R. A. Gilbert described him, "Waite's name has survived because he was the first to attempt a systematic study of the history of western occultism—viewed as a spiritual tradition rather than as aspects of proto-science or as the pathology of religion."

今回楽しみにしていましたが、皆さんのレビューで
外箱がつぶれていたとかありましたので、
少し心配もありました。

届いて確認したところ、外箱は綺麗でひとまず安心でした。
しかし、中を開けたら？？？で自分の目を疑いました。

裁断ミスなのか、カードは原型をとどめていません。
残念ながら、１枚の広用紙にカードの絵柄を印刷して
カードの絵柄を無視して裁断されて箱詰めされたようです。
一番上のカードは、サイズもとても小さかったです。

こういうことがあるんだと驚きましたがいろいろ考えず返品することにします。交換は不安なので返品のみです。

私はこれまでこのような不良品に当たったことがないので
ビックリしましたし、品物も品物ですのでとても残念でしたが、縁がなかったのだろうと考えることにしました。

箱の上から透明フィルムでラッピングされていたので
交換したとしても
中身が検品されない状態で私の手元に届いて
又不良品だったら面倒な手間が増えるだけと思い

こちらは返品にしました。

材質は
過去レビューでプラスチックとの書き込みがありましたが
私に届いた商品は
紙になにかコーティングされてる感じのものでした。

Easily the best tarot deck I own. It arrived earlier than expected. Even though the box was a bit beat up, the cards inside are in pristine condition. I've added pictures of back and front of the cards so people can get an idea what the back looks like. Also pictured is a regular sharpie fine point marker for scale. It also comes with a small Instruction Booklet and an info card about Pamela Colman Smith (a very touching read). Would definitely recommend and buy again.
