only been using this a few days. bought due to the depth capacity to cut wall block caps. I'd have perferred a pro unit or used pro unit but depot is down the street
and i needed to get started asap. Haven't used it on tile. I'd prefer non direct drives on every saw tool but you gotta make a concession for space and weight. this thing is very light and easy to store.
Love the sliding tray with lock. Cleans up fast. You will have spray and mess behind the saw about 5 feet but working in front is clean and you don't get soaked like
those cheapie table versions (which i have one of those as well i used to death and wish i had bought a sliding table long ago!!).
The tray has nice size grooves to catch cuttings buying you some time between dusting it off.
Blade it comes with is so so..there's some deflection when you get on a big edge. it's pretty thin, but makes a nice cut.
Water delivery seems very good no complaints there helps keep down dust alot. The drain on the tub is nice! so much better than the cheapie table saw versions.
I don't mess with the laser you can't see it usually anyways outside where the saw will be setup, it's handy to quickly line up initially when you can see it but it's more a home owner gimmick.
I can't speak for the cut accuracy as it's not that critical for wall caps, will find out when i do some tile. Seems adequately powered but is certainly not a tile saw with a baldor motor..you
can slow it down (so slow your feed rate based on that), and it can lock up on thick items (only a few times where the block jammed it).
I'm happy with the saw thus far. My main concern is the direct drive and dust. But it works well, i've cut about 300 feet of garden block caps all curves 2 cuts each cap, and with this saw made fast progress. I plan to do some tiling with it next. It seems a decent value when you get the stand. It may not have a belt driven baldor motor but for home owner use should have an acceptable lifespan hopefully.

As a home remodeling contractor, I generally hire a tile pro for my tiling. However, I occasionally need to complete small jobs myself. This saw is just what it claims to be. No more, no less. If you need a more powerful or more versatile saw, you need to spend more. I find this saw cuts tile quickly and accurately enough but you need to have some idea what you are doing if you want clean cuts which are easy enough to achieve. I would not buy this saw as my main saw if I set tile for a living but it's great for small jobs and good enough to do occasional big jobs. (Note tile size limitations. Although I buy a lot of stuff on Amazon, I bought this saw at a big box store where it was $20 cheaper, I get a 5% discount, and it came with a free stand.
