I originally purchased the stemmed wings glasses for Riesling, Cab and Pinot. They are nice glasses and wonderful taste experience but they are big and I feel I will break them. The stemless wings glasses fit perfectly in your hand . Feel so natural and comfortable, look great and I am not afraid to give vigorous swirls.

These are beautiful and comfortable glasses though they are 23oz, which is a little too big for us - I'm going to return them. I wish they were 12-15 oz - I'm not after a specific size for each type of wine.
Also, as of 6/21/21, the description says "This pack contains 2 glasses", which is incorrect - there are 4 of them in the set

Flawless glasses with an elegant design

These aren’t your basic “made in China” wine glasses. Made in Germany, Riedel highlights typical German quality and perfectionism in the craftsmanship of these glasses. There isn’t a flaw to be found. The rims are even, smooth, with sharp but comfortable edges. Additionally, the shape is uniform in each glass with an even bulge in the base of each glass.

The sizing by varietal appears to be accurate, at least for the Riesling size that I received. Pours fill the base of each glass as expected, and the low bulge adds some additional balance to keep the glasses stable when filled.

I’m sold on Riedel glasses after receiving these, and would highly recommend them to anyone that finds mouth feel of the glass important when drinking wine, or enjoys the aesthetic of a flawless glass.

But that’s JustMe. (I received this product in exchange for an honest review, and that is what I have offered here.)

I’m a huge fan of Riedel Wine Glasses, it’s a YOLO thing. I was a bit of a sceptic until I went to an actual wine glass tasting. Not a wine tasting, this tasting was all about the wine glass, and I was amazed at the results. There is a huge difference in taste depending on the thickness and shape of the glass. I have been reaching for Riedels ever since. Even my table wines shine in their glasses. They take a bit of extra care — I will not put them in the dishwasher, I have to be extra careful with my expressive hands, and I pay extra heed when I clear away the dirties after 10pm. But… they’re absolutely, positively worth the splurge. And the Riedel Wings are my absolute favorites, with stems or without. These Reisling/Champagne glasses are exceptional.

This Riedel Stemless Wings Riesling/Champagne Glass, Set of 4, Clear is fairly inexpensive for a set of Riedel glasses. At $45, that's just over $11/glass.

I don't find this shape the most elegant to look at, with its squat bottom, and it also isn't the most pleasant to hold. It is quite bottom heavy.

However, my beverage stayed bubbly for the entire length of time it took me to finish it. I also did feel like the fruit flavors were slightly more concentrated, but that could be a placebo effect.

I handwashed these glasses. They are thin, but did not feel so delicate that I was worried about breaking them. The opening is wide enough that they aren't too difficult to clean.

I am quite satisfied with these glasses.

First of all, Riedel is a company with 250+years of history. They manufacture the glasses in Germany. And, there is no surprise, their glasses are perfect in every possible way. Thin, chic, absolutely stunning, they make my hands look ugly holding them. Seriously, we absolutely love them.
They arrived well-packaged. There was even a small brochure telling the long history of the company.
The only thing that worries me is that the glasses are thin, they feel fragile. I really hope we avoid dropping them because I don't think they can survive the fall.
Other than that, if you want something fancy, these would be my choice number one.

I recently purchased their Cabernet glasses which are beautiful, if a little large and loved the idea of having glasses that are specifically designed for each wine type so was excited to try these.

These are elegant glasses designed specifically for Pinot. They are still quite big and have a lovely design that is to support the specific characteristics of a Pinot and help bring out the best of the wine. They come in a pack of 4 - worth noting as the description states both 4 and 2 glasses which is confusing.

They are very pretty, functional and great addition to any bar set

Riegel makes absolutely phenomenal stuff for us wine drinkers. They actually put a ton of effort into smart design that really helps to enhance the experience. These glasses are no exception. They are well made and an easy recommendation. If you don't any Riedel and drink wine, you really owe to yourself to give these a go.
