We went to a seminar with these authors and bought the book because the seminar was
well-presented and useful. We didn't know what to expect from the book.
It is a different approach. A lot deeper and more thoughtful. If you wanted to "get down to it"
with couples, this is a great guide for doing that. You wouldn't have to develop the material,
or consider the tough questions --- because all of that is in here.
The couples book (same title, smaller size, blue cover) is a lot of fun to read. We have
counseled three couples so far --- they used the couples book and we used some of the
material from this (counseling book) plus added in some thoughts of our own.
The couples love doing their homework in their book: They actually do their reading.
Five stars because this is a completely different approach.
