However, to my surprise, Andrew Carnegie was a victim of a woman swindler, which is new to me.
On the other hand, I asked myself that humans have already know various methods used by criminals such as swindle, but we cannot draw a general conclusion of how to prevent ourselves from being victimized.

'An expose of successful criminals' revealing working secrets of thieves,swindlers and con-artists.
More of a Novelty book now. But the stories are delightfully told, and clearly a lot of time went into
interviewing the chiefs of police and famous detectives of that day.
For the true crime, and Houdini collectors.
